Getting down to the nitty gritty of life with Bevan.....who is heading towards 50......and life sure is interesting and varied in this mans world.
There is never a dull moment with Bev, and with so much knowledge, experience and success to date, one can only speculate as to what is around the corner. Whatever that might be, Bev will handle it with his normal cool, calm and professional manner.
Bevan also hosts a weekly podcast called Fitter Radio with Nutritionist Mikki Williden. Bev and Mikki bring so much to the table each week....practical, proven and applicable.
As a former elite level triathlete Bevan has competed at World Champs in Olympic, Long Course and Iron distance races. In 2016 at the age of 45 he raced IMNZ in a time of 8hrs 48mins earning himself the title of fastest NZ age group athlete of all time on that course. Later that year Bev raced to a Gold Medal at the 70.3 World Champs in Mooloolaba and a Gold Medal at the Ironman World Champs in Kona.
Bevan holds the position of Research Associate for AUT Millennium’s Endurance Performance Clinic and Triathlon Coach for the Sports Performance Research Institute. With over 15 years’ experience of triathlon coaching he has featured in many articles and books including most recently ‘What the Fat? Sports Performance’ by Prof Grant Schofield.
