Ok, this gal is about to turn 50! Yes, I know, I know, but you sound and look so young! Awe chucks, thanks guys! But seriously, you will never know grateful I am to STILL be here. Turning 50 means I am celebrating my 9th birthday from when I was first diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer. I looked at the statistics the other day and it shows that 15,000 women die each year from the disease. Which means that 135,000 women have died in the last nine years. Talk about survivors guilt! But then again you look at that and look at how many people have died from covid-19, which is 400,000! IN JUST ONE YEAR!!! But I digress. So, knowing how many women have died in the past nine years and me getting to celebrate another birthday, well, grateful really doesn't do it justice on how I feel. 

Moving on, have you heard of the young guy that turned in or tipping off the FBI about his father being part of the January 6th insurrection? Well, he was on CNN and other news outlets and now he has over 12,000 followers on Twitter. And, and, and he started a gofundme for himself. And it started out for $40,000. Yes, that is what he was going for. But then he moved it up more and then more and more and NOW his goal is for $100,000! You read that, heard that right! And I just feel that is not cool. I feel like he got greedy and is being quite selfish with taking advantage of people's kindness and generosity in a monetary manner. Guys, $100,000 for what? For doing the right thing?! Listen in and then let me know what you think. Is it just me that thinks him asking for that much is outrageous! Am I wrong? I'm not being jealous. It's not about him getting more and here I am a cancer patient and can't even get half of what my goal is. Ok, it is crazy that in ONE day he got $57,000 and in almost one month I got only almost $1,500. But it's not about jealousy. If I wasn't sick, I'd not have a gofundme out there and you better believe I would still be writing & saying all of this. Ok, ok, listen in for more. :)

The time has come, the day is here! How refreshing to hear a message of unity. To hear a leader speak clearly and a way we can all understand. I mean great start, sir! 😉 And Kamala Harris, just wow! Looking forward to seeing what good will come from this new administration. And praying the bad folks out there wanting to overthrow our Democracy will be caught and face the consequences to their actions. Moving on: I love God. I believe Jesus to be my Lord & Savi. Alright day 9 and feeling fineISH. As with all chemo, especially for late stage cancer, there will be side effects. And I gots them! Very glad I was able to speak where I can be understood, hopefully. 😉 If talking about cancer and chemo scares you please let it scare you to listen to your body and see a doctor if signs and symptoms persists for more than two weeks. Don't be like me, be better and don't ignore what your body is telling you. Early detection, diagnosis, is WAY better than late. Trust me! Now, what the what happened at Capitol Hill? We thought we knew but guys it's even worse. I'm gonna share what I've learned. Plenty of news outlets to get your info from and all are sharing the same SHOCKING stuff. We will not forget and just move on. And this was not the same as "those BLK protests", hello! More is gonna come out too! Be prepaded to be angry and sad. Moving on: I'm hoping to be more kind. Like it's free! And the world could do with more kindness. Like for realz! If you can be a part of kindness, please do. Guys I'm (as those that have listened in know) very passionate about things and what happened in D.C. can't and shouldn't be forgotten just because it's over. It's not about just moving on. We didn't do that on 9/11 or any other time our country was attacked. And make no mistake about it, it was attacked -- from within. Home grown terrorists, even if not everyone sees it that way. I did cycle 1 of the chemo session and it went well. Thanks be to God. I rested for two day at my stepdad's place. That was nice. And now back at my apartment. I have had some side effects, but they have been really mild. Hallelujah! I know it's still early but taking the good where and when I can. 😉 Texas is looking to get snow. Like maybe even up to 3 inches -- which is a lot for Texas. But because it's Texas it could be down and gone within an hour. Lol. Y'all be safe and healthy. I didn't want to talk politics and really I'm not. What has happened today is insanity! Beyond insane! It's unconscionable! All of this was incited and orchestrated by trump and his people. And it is sad! I'm saddened by this. And angered by it too! This is not what the conservative Christian side is about. Or should not be about. This is horrible! My apologies for not doing any episodes for over a month. To say the end of 2020 was bad is an understatement. The surgery to remove cancer was a success; however, on November 29th I lost my best friend, my rock, my prayer warrior, my mom. And she died from complications due to covid-19. 😡😩🥺😢😔 It happened suddenly and unexpectedly. It devastated all of us. And it has taken me some time to get to a place where I would speak about it or her without crying. I was also not in a good place health wise as I got covid19 too and at the same time I was still healing from surgery. But I'm better now. I will begin chemo treatment next Thursday. Got my boxing gloves 🥊🥊 and ready to kick some cancer arse! And ready to get back into podcasting! Ok, what the what the friggin what is going on the white house??? Seriously guys, I could not not talk about what #notmypotus is continuing to do. He is continuing to act like he didn't lose the election. Even thought the more they investigate the voting the more they find he IN FACT lost! More votes are being counted FOR Biden NOT Trump. Yet, yet, he is still not wanting to concede. And his administration is doing the same. Shameful! And embarrassing as countries are surely laughing at us...more than they have the past 4 years. Spoke with a gal, I foolishly thought was not a Republican. People facts are wanted on all sides. But she thinks only Republicans believe in facts. Really? Ok, next, speaking of shameful. Sharing about this girl that went all cra cra on me. Over a darn mask and manners. Where did manners, common courtesy, respect and compassion disappear to? This country, this world, needs to return or just start being a world of love and not hate and angry and rudeness. Hello?! It exists. But we need more of it. Ok, big shout out to military veterans! My Spunkey (my adorable cat) was laying on my chest when I recorded yesterday's episode SO after listening to it I thought it too much. Love her. But the heavyish breathing and purring was not ideal. Hence trying it again. This one should be better...should. 😉 Talking about POTUS #46 y'all! And how excited I am about the results of the election. And give it up for Kamala Harris! How freakin awesome! Wat! Wat! 🥳🥳🥳✊🏾 Now let's just get manchild out of the office by January 21st, 2021. I pray it won't be difficult as of right now the dude doesn't want to concede. Really?! 🤦🏾‍♀️ OK. I'm meeting more cool young go getters! Met a gal with a name like Monica. Big shout out to her! Hope to read her book some day. 😊 Lastly, there seems to be a decline in common courtesy and social etiquette, i.e. manners. Maybe it's just in my area of Texas? Maybe not. I just feel so many people don't know how to think outside of themselves. More and more I see a "meism" world. Hope to be big time wrong about this.
