You want change and you’re aware that change needs to happen, but fear gets in your way when you want to take action.
Getting what you want means you need to move forward. We chat about the dialogue to use on a daily basis and giving yourself permission to not be fine and to be too tired. We are not an island and should not do everything ourselves. Ask for help to get to your destination faster. Figuring things out all by yourself takes longer, employ the assistance of others to get things done faster.
There are so many more factors affecting parenting today than in previous generations. I recently read a book “13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don't Do: Raising Self-Assured Children and Training Their Brains for a Life of Happiness, Meaning, and Success” by Amy Morin.
Parenting is more about the parent than the child. These 13 “things” are great guidelines for raising a child. From being able to show your child how to take action for themself to making your child the center of the universe. We chat about how these 13 pieces of advice apply to the daily job of parenting.
Saying “no” is very hard, especially for people pleasers who don’t want to disappoint others. Women need to set boundaries and to say “no” to others. Saying “yes” can limit the accessibility to opportunities. Saying “yes” to everything says to others that your time is not valuable.
People find out who the people are who always says “yes” and seek these people out. People can be uncomfortable with you saying “no”. No is a shield against exploitation and can be your protection. If you have said too many yeses, you can become run-down and shallow. Turn around how you feel by using “no”.

Positive thoughts can actually create real value in your life and help you build skills that last much longer than a smile. So, we're diving in and teaching you how a positive mental attitude can be absolutely life-changing!

There's a tendency to assume that successful, confident women/mothers/people never have any doubts-- that they are decisive about every choice, never have regrets and always know what to do. But that couldn't be further from the truth. The fact is, everyone, even the best mothers and mom bosses, second-guess themselves. As their family or business grows, they are most likely haunted by self-doubt and indecision - even if you don’t see it. In this week's episode we're giving you our tried and true tips for kicking self-doubt in the teeth and get back to being your awesome self that much quicker!
