The evolution of social media has been fueled by the human impulse to communicate and by advances in digital technology. It is a story about establishing and nurturing personal connections at scale.

On this day✍️in 1960, the most populous country in Africa🇳🇬achieved independence from The Great Britain🇬🇧.

Celebrations🎊🎉start on the morning🌝of Independence Day🌈, when the President of Nigeria👴addresses the general public with a nationally televised speech🎤. Nigerians then proudly sing🎶the national anthem while raising the green and flag🏳. Later on, the Nigerian Armed Forces🧑🏻‍✈️👮🏼‍♂️march to the rhythm of thumping drums🪘and perform military maneuvers in the nation's capital, Abuja.

Many Nigerians spend the rest of the day enjoying traditional meals with friends and family. It wouldn't be a proper celebration without plantains and chicken served with jollof rice, a treasured Nigerian meal bursting with West African spices. Beaches are also a popular destination for family picnics, and later transform into outdoor clubs where the beat of fuji music continues into the night.

Happy Independence Day✊, Nigeria🇳🇬🎊🎉!

Imagine spending 4/5 years studying a particular course when our passion is completely different from what we’ve studied/studying in school. Though many are following their passion as a side hustle or secretly following that track because if we try and venture fully into it, we would be seen as unserious elements lol. I’m also a living testimony. I studied “Pure and Applied Chemistry” but right now I’m following my passion big time. It’s not because of the money involved but for the ever burning passion we’ve got for our chosen career. Here in this very first episode of “Miss-Road”. According to the “Insha-Allah Jesu” crooner himself, music is much more than what we all know. If people like Jay-Z, Dr. Drey as well as our very own Don-Jazzy being great tycoons when it comes to entertainment entrepreneurship could make it this far and achieve this much, then there are a lotta things yet to be discovered about the entertainment industry. Kindly take your time to listen and enjoy every bit of it as the “Aeronautical and astrology” graduate of “Kwara state university” takes us through a very interesting journey of about an hour. Happy listening.
