Our relationships do best when we are checking in regularly with our partners, and that doesn't mean just asking "hey are things good with us?" because that can be blind siding and unnerving for the unsuspecting partner.
We are talking about doing the sort of weekly check-in that takes a little more effort and forethought. We want to be able to not only discuss our relationship and what's working or not but also let's go over this weeks schedule and meal plan and budget or whatever else works for you and yours.
We have been doing this for a while now and we wanted to make sure we did an episode on how it works for us. We created a pdf document for you to download and use to help you get started with this practice as well. Take what works for you and toss what doesn't and please add in anything you think you could benefit from.
We would also LOVE if you shared pictures of your polycule using the KTT or pictures of a form you like to use or your notes etc. We want to see how you make relationship and polycule check ins work and hopefully our community can learn from each other and get some great ideas! Use #ilovepolyktt to show off your ideas!

The world is still in a tumultuous state and there's a lot of tough in our lives. It can become super easy to let the bad take over and for us to fall into that pit of negativity, it's easy to become the negativity we are being subjected to on a daily basis. It's this negative influence which sometimes drives us to become stressed or frustrated, to feel like our life is out of control, which is bad news. The good news is we don't have to let it take control of us.
Bella and Monsuta take the time to help show how we can regain our control even in bad situations and how to improve the quality of life we all share experience with. We pour from our cups into yours with a fun life skill which not only provides an opportunity to feel more positive in the moment but also to let that good feeling spread into our relationships, our circles, and our futures
Check out this discussion where we talk about how to feel more fulfilled, how to adjust our filters, and how to help fill those around us using the Pour Method.

Self isolation and quarantining are happening everywhere and many relationships are finding new challenges or changes in dynamics. This is a strange time for the world. Polyamory in particular, is experiencing quite the shift in how relationships are maintained and how we can creatively work through unexpected problems. Starting with this episode, Talk Your Poly Off is kicking off a multi-episode series highlighting ethical non-monogamists and how they are surviving through the Coronavirus pandemic.
We invited Amelia to today's discussion. In addition to Amelia's nesting partner, she's also in another long term relationship, and she is also dating a couple. Today we talk about a number of things including parenting, traumatic experiences and how they shape your life, as well as polyamory beginnings and how messing up does happen but it's okay to learn from life lessons. Come and Talk Your Poly Off with Amelia, the pragmatic and bashful exhibitionist polyamorist in your community.

We invited Laurel to today's discussion. She is a solo polyamorist who has spent the last few years really finding who she is and learning how to accept herself, her sexuality, and her community in ways she previously didn't feel she could. Laurel speaks openly about overcoming shame, exploring a swinger lifestyle, and most importantly, her life as a mom who is trying to learn herself. Come talk your poly off with Laurel, the quirky, whimsical polyamorist in your community.

This episode is not only about polyamory through generations but features a special guest, DJ. DJ is Monsuta's eldest daughter and also a mother of two. She shares her experiences as a child of a practicing nonmonogamist and how it has affected both her view on relationships as well as how it has helped shape her own life. She even allows us the opportunity to learn a little bit of her polyamorous exploration.
Sit and talk with us and listen to how this father and daughter work together to build on their family values, discuss how Bella has joined the picture, and even share some cute stories.

These are scary and strange times between a fear of catching or passing along a virus to stress and anxiety about being quarantined in your home on lock down without work to pay bills. We wanted to reach out to our polyam fam and tell you that you aren't alone. We are here. Bella is scared, Monsuta is prepared and always her rock and we will get through this together.
How are your relationships in the middle of all of this? What are you doing to nurture each other from a distance? Or how are you staying sane when feeling smothered and stuck together in a small apartment? Let's all remember to reach out and show love. There are so many ways with technology that we can help each other feel connected in isolating times.
