Back after a week away, the boys talk about "The Senator" - Habs legend Serge Savard! Not many folks, including your hosts, know he was the real originator of the Savardian spin-o-rama - but he also won 8 cups as a player and another 2 as a GM!

We also head down to the rink for the final weekend of Garage League action and we talk about the attendance crisis (?!?!) for your Winnipeg Jets.

All this, plus a trio of killer new tunes - keep yer stick on the ice!

Oh hey there hockey fans, how's it going?

The fellas are back this weekend talkin' about another beauty, the pride of Kelvington, SK - #17, Mr. Wendel Clark. He's a real Leaf's legend and certainly a charter member of the pro hockey moustache hall of fame!

Then they discuss the brouhaha between the Leafs and the Senators - empty net clappers, unnecessary crosschecks and the "code" - plus a compare and contrast to other suspensions this year.

And finally a breakdown and Jets comings and goings - getting back in the win column and looking forward to the upcoming slate of games.

The lads are back with episode 16, a real beauty named after a real beauty - the Tucker, as in Leaf's legend Darcy Tucker. He had a tidy 940 plus game career, making his mark as a guy you hated to play against but loved having as a teammate!

We've got a quick rundown on the Jet's newest addition, number 23, Sean Monahan who joins the squad after the All Star game weekend. We catch you up on all the comings and going from the T-Dot, including an in depth discussion about the pros returning to the Olympics in 2026

We're back after a week off with episode 15 - The Bobby Smith! The fellas tell you about this former North Star, Hab and Ottawa 67 who had a tidy little career, putting up almost a point per game during his 1000 plus game career! He was the first (???) Nova Scotia born player to go #1 overall, and it's true that he once even beat the Great One in a scoring race by 10 points - nice job Robert!

Then we break down the recent developments in the horrible Team Canada scandal in connection with an investigation into an alleged sexual assault by several members of Canada's 2018 world junior team.

And finally, the Winnipeg Jet's recent swoon has gotta have fans feeling a little deja vu - can Old Bones right the ship post-All Star Break?

It's cold outside, but this week's episode is red hot as the boys talk about a real beauty - Brendan Shanahan. Certainly one of the top 100 of all time, Shanny was a hard-nosed scorer for the Devils, Blues, Whalers, Red Wings and Rangers and repped his country a number of times, joining the elusive Triple Gold club and setting an (un)official record for Gordie Howe hattricks! Plus, he's been the architect of the "Shanaplan", trying to lead the Maple Leafs to glory for the past 10 years!

We also discuss this year's allstar game - who's in, who's out and who's fan base is stuffing the ballot box - some great throwback tunes this week too!

The boys are back at it with our first episode of 2024, something we're calling the Cammalleri!

Of course we talk a little about the well travelled Mike Cammalleri, who played for 5 teams during his 900 game plus career, and then we talk about an off year for Canada at the WJHC. Then we catch up with your red hot Winnipeg Jets, who are on a historic heater, plus we go in depth on their late 2023 two game brouhaha with the Minnesota Wild. Plus co-host Tom plays some music favs from 2023!

On our last show before Christmas, the boys talk about a real beauty - Boston Bruins legend Wayne Cashman! We also give you a World Juniors tournament preview, letting you know who's wearing the maple leaf this year and who are some other players to watch in this year's holiday classic. And then in our our final segment we talk NHL contenders and pretenders - who looks good on paper and who actually has the juice to hoist the cup!

There are local legends, and then there's Dale Hawerchuk! The lads discuss the Jet's 1.0 superstar in depth, from his decorated junior career with the Cornwall Royals, to his stint riding shotgun with #99 and #66 at the Canada Cup, winning the face off that led to arguably the most legendary goal in Canadian hockey history!

We talk new contracts for El Nino, and discuss our Jet's holiday wish list. And of course, there's a GLH double header recap - hope you're wearing your Hawaiian shirt!

After a one week hiatus, the boys are back at it with Season 6, Episode 9 - The Richard. That's right, we're talkin' Rocket - bonafide NHL legend and goal scorer extraordinaire, Maurice Richard. First to pot 50 in 50 games, and the first to 500 career goals, the Rocket's goal scoring prowess was only matched by his fiery temper and his affinity for pomade - "Hey Richard, 2 minutes for looking so good!"
