The NHL Allstar game is almost upon us, and the Leafs are heading into the weekend in pretty good shape. The team will have some additional time off with their bye week attached to the All Star break, and will hopefully head into it in style, with a win over Boston on February 1st. They won't play again until February 10th, and this couldn't be coming at a better time! With Auston Matthews joining the injured ranks, we're hopeful he will be feeling good to go when their schedule resumes, and he and the rest of his teammates will be ready for the final push to the playoffs.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves! Before Mitch heads to FLA, we still have lots of Leafs' news to dive into. In this episode we look at what's good and bad in Leaf Land, as well as give you our highlights from the latest 6 game segment. In our Third Period, we are pleased to welcome back, Mike Augello, our freshly minted Ladies Talkin' Leafs Insider, to discuss what's happening behind the scenes with the Leafs as we approach the NHL Trade Deadline coming up on March 3rd. Will it be a depth move on D or a big splash up front? Tune in to hear Mike's insights.

As we mentioned, the Allstar break and bye week couldn't be coming at a better time, and hopefully, it will give those in the infirmary time to heal up. It also means though, that we have 10 days coming up no Leaf Hockey :(. No doubt there will still be plenty of Leafs' news and who knows, maybe Kyle Dubas will pull the trigger on something in time for the Buds return. In the meantime, you have us to keep you company, we'll still have lots to talk about no matter what happens! Go Leafs Go!
