The Thrasher Magazine Skater of the Year award began in 1990. First there was Tony Hawk, followed by Danny Way, then John Cardiel, and then my next guest. Salman grew up in Nor-Cal, was sponsored early on by Powell and was a huge part of the early days of REAL skateboards, oh and by the way... HE is the Switch God. He currently owns and operates his own pizza spot in Los Angeles called Pizzanista. I treasure our friendship and can always count on Salman to share knowledge... GO TYSON!
