This was a really interesting story from Reconstruction Texas that I stumbled upon today. Think Hatfield's and McCoy's, just further west...and less Deliverance-ish...but not that much less. This was a dive into disgruntled Confederate veterans and carpetbagging bureaucrats and Wild West justice all rolled into one! Enjoy!
