Ryan Gore is the president of the Derby City Whisker Club out of Louisville KY. We sat down and talked about their upcoming "Whiskermania 3" event and also the previous years of this wrestling themed beard and mustache contest. Ryan is quite an interesting fella and I love finding common interests with someone other than beards when I interview them! There are some pretty big named and accomplished judges for this event, and Aaron Johnston to round it off. We talk about all the details of the event, but here they are all below-Hope to see you there!!!
The hardest hitting beard and moustache championship in the land is back for round three! In a bigger venue, on a bigger stage, with even bigger beards - this is an event you won't want to miss!

Small towns can breed some interesting people. I traveled thousands of miles to meet with an interesting fella, Doug White, and talk all things beard clubbing. President of the Beards of the Old Northwest Rock Creek Chapter, Doug has a great group of guys surrounding him that really help out their local community. They all have big hearts and the desire to do good things for those that are in need as opposed to use club status in a competitive nature. I really learned a lot about how a club can pull together with a common goal, and drive, to make a difference. The Rock Creek club have teamed up with the Beattitude House to continuously help them collect items that they need and to also help them fix up their facilities back to working order.
The Paranormal world is something Doug is interested in as well as I and we discussed Sasquatch, ghosts and ufo's. We also discussed the Mansfield Reformatory, home of Beards Behind Bars 2 this summer, as being one of the most haunted places to visit in the country. Be sure to take a tour when you come down to Beards Behinds Bars June 30th 2018. We dig kinda deep into our beliefs on passing through dimensions and religious implications.
We finish off this episode with talking about the charm of small towns and small town living. It was really interesting to get the perspective from someone who doesn't need much to be happy. Their club is really a brotherhood and a family that spends a lot of time together having fun and doing good. I really enjoy being around Doug and his group whenever we cross paths in the bearding world. Be sure to check out these links below and find out more about their club and the Beattitude House.

Joined by some scholarly fellas, The Last Jedi has been a polorizing movie amongst true fans. With the popularity of EP.55 of The Beardcaster, I wanted to get some more opinion on the new Star Wars movie. Happy Holidays on this fun extra episode, hope you enjoy!!!

This years Toys for Tots toy collection was out of this world!!! We collected a record breaking amount of toys between The Beards of the Old Northwest, Rustbelt Whisker Society, and the Steel City Beard and Mustache Club at Camelot Lanes in Boardman, Ohio. The only unfortunate thing that happened that evening was this boneheaded podcaster didn't hook up his recorder properly and I lost all my interviews with everyone from the evening. I am such an idiot! To make up for the lost footage I found a fun chat session with Patrick Quinn and Jeff Bittner with an added splash of Crystal Davis. Hope you enjoy our crazy night at the Super 8!
SPOILERS!!! Be careful listening-Our friend Nicole Tovar from the Dune Sea Garrison, a division of the 501st located in Arizona, Bald Faced Josh, and I discuss the new Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi. We all had some strong feelings about this new movie and we go through a list of what we enjoyed and a bunch of things we didn't like. Take a listen and agree or disagree, our opinions maybe a little strong but we are very passionate on the topic. The movie is getting a lot of mixed reviews right now from the press and public, it is defiantly something stiring the emotions of the fans in this movie.
