Halloween Horror Nights Orlando returns for its 31st year of screams in 2022, with 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, two live shows, and more than 75 themed treats and beverages (like 100% Ground Princess! Yum!). To discuss the creative process, storytelling, and artistry behind the houses — such as John Carpenter’s Halloween, Blumhouse and Black Phone, The Weeknd, Universal Monsters, and original concepts like the retro sci-fi Bugs — Aaron is joined by Lora Sauls, Senior Manager of Creative Development and Show Direction.

She shares anecdotes about joining HHN Orlando more than 20 years ago as a singing, dancing Bride of Frankenstein in the Beetlejuice review, and reveals some superstitions among the house designers. Plus, she talks about the two-part Universal Monsters: Legends Collide, which is a bi-costal haunt with Universal Studios Hollywood.
