After the first official day of practice the media meets with Mercer and players

Indiana Baseball is three weeks away from opening the season in Surprise, Arizona. Within the warm confines of Mellencamp Pavillion the program officially opened up the 2025 practice season. After practice concluded four players and head coach Jeff Mercer met with the media. The players were senior transfer pitcher Cole Gilley, junior pitcher Aydan Decker-Petty, consensus pre-season All-American junior outfielder Devin Taylor, and senior catcher Jake Stadler.
