Peter Serruto has 4 hits, Bobby Whalen 3 RBI's in the marquee series clincher to put the Hoosiers in sole possession of first place in the B1G standings

In a real grind-it-out game, the Hoosiers stayed close with stellar defense and finally broke out the bats for a big 8th inning to win the rubber match and the series on Easter Sunday. Peter Serruto lead the team with four hits, Bobby Whalen drove in a tying run and the two winning runs plus made a stellar catch to save runs in the first inning. The media met with head coach Jeff Mercer, Serruto, and Whalen following the game.
