It was a wild finish to the Can-Am 500 at Phoenix International Raceway that resulted in Joey Logano's 17th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory. Logano's win locked him into the Championship race and gives him a chance at the championship. Kyle Busch locked himself in on points after an incident late in the going between Matt Kenseth and Alex Bowman. Kenseth's accident eliminated him from championship contention.
