Veterans Day is this coming Friday so with that in mind the trio decided to talk about all things War in their newest podcast. We had planned on doing another Horror themed episodes but after the tragic events that occured in Lewiston, Maine last week we decided to cancel the recording. It is still that spooky season so this nerdy crew jumps back into some more Horror Movies. Even though the conversation gets derailed when it comes to what is horror and what isn't horror. All month long Talking Nerdy in the Bedroom will be discussing Horror Movies and TV Shows. This week we jump into some of our favorites as Mike wanted to discuss It Part I and Part II. Corey wanted everyone to watch Cabin in the Woods. And it should come as no surprise that KJ was chomping at the bit to talk about Saw (although only the first one is discussed in detail). All of these movies are a great example of horror and thrillers from the start of the movie to the end. The fall season always brings out the spooky in everyone and with movies like these, you'll keep feeling spooked the rest of the month. Wednesday nights were a disaster for scheduling for the trio but now that we are back to the regularly scheduled Thursday Night recording we were able to get everyone back in the booth. It probably also helped that Corey and Mike were like kids on crack to talk about this episode. If anyone has listened to this podcast you can hear how much those two geek out over Star Wars and with the latest show Ahsoka just ending it was time to dive in. The three men in the bedroom discuss how the show transitions from an animated show to a full live action and if there are any flaws with that. In what will be a short episode, KJ man's the booth alone to talk about a show he has enjoyed over the last couple years. The idea was to talk about this show and hype up what is coming next, but just this past week it was announced this show has been cancelled and now there will only be two seasons. That begs the question of what happens to these characters and the twist ending of the season two finale? KJ lends his thoughts to that but the annoyance of the cancellation can be heard strongly in his voice.

Mike and KJ are back in the booth this week to talk about a video game turned TV show that is exclusively on Peacock, Twisted Metal. There have been a bunch of video game adapations lately that are hitting the mark which isn't something that could have been said for decades. Nearly every try at turning a video game into an entertaining TV show or movie has failed misreably. But Twisted Metal hits the nail on the head for not taking itself seriously and staying true to the video game. Mike and KJ break down what the game is, what characters are in each, how the show flows with this post apocalyptic backdrop, and is it good enough for Season 2? Spoilers, it is even if the critic score for this show isn't very high. If you know what you're getting into watching it you'll love every second and this duo highly recommends it for stupid fun.

Summer finally came to Maine which heated up the studio too much. KJ decided to host a solo podcast on one of the newest revivial TV shows, Justified: City Primeval. But the only way to talk about the revivial is to talk about the original which KJ just so happened to re-watch this summer to remember everything for the continuation of the story. Hear all about the original six seasons; from what worked to what didn't. And then hear about the new show on Hulu and if there is a possibility for more seasons or another story. Football is back this week and what a better time to have a fantasy football podcast? Fantasy football is back in a big way as we started another league and have our regular league too. We have Nick and Richard joining us to discuss everything from last year, how everyone feels about the new league, and what to expect for the upcoming year.
