To close out LGBTQ Pride month 2021, we introduce our first Talking Pediatrics Trailblazer episode, featuring Emmy award winning reporter Jana Shortal. Listen to how Jana came to break the unspoken dress code for on-air reporters, inspiring others, including many kids and teenagers, to lean into their authentic identities and show up exactly as they are. Jana talks about being publicly bullied for her appearance, and how she stood up for herself and so many others, by refusing to back down.
