Welcome back to The Student Physio Podcast. Hosted by Brad Carrigan and Lewis Cowan we are joined by physiotherapist and nutritionist Ben Steele-Turner. Ben is currently working as a MSK Physiotherapist supplementing his practice with nutritional advice for his patients. Throughout this episode we explore how physiotherapy and nutrition fit hand in hand when it comes to rehabilitation. We draw upon some of the evidence base around the use of anti-inflammatories in healing and how nutrition fits into the current PEACE & LOVE model as well as the benefit of understanding the stress response during injury and the nutritional demands to enhance RTP.
