I think it’s fair to say that football fans can at times be a funny breed. They whine and have multiple meltdowns per week and can turn quicker than the drop of Bonnie Blue’s knickers.

But they’re also loyal. Not only to the club they support but also to each other. And no fanbase is better at this than the supporters of Nottingham Forest. Our guest today, is a podcaster himself as one member of Red Side of the Trent, and a huge Forest fan who recently discovered first hand just how special the Forest family are when tributes and donations and sponsorship poured in when heannounced the cancer diagnosis of his wife, Emma and the drive to raise money and awareness for The Brain Tumour Charity. The Forest fanbase showed that whenone of us is down the support is truly there for the battle that lies ahead and coming together as one only makes us stronger. He’s just completed Tough Mudderand he’s with us today to share his story and chat all things Forest.

Our good friends at Forest All Over signed off this week to end five years of weekly Forest content and we salute Chris and Matt and look forward to their occasional specialeditions that may pop up randomly here and there…! Hello and welcome to Talking Reds, a Nottingham Forest Podcast!

The season is over. The final whistle has blown. The curtain has come down and the fat lady has given her soprano rendition of Mull of Kintyre.

Our job for the next hour or so is to look back, reflect and remember. The dust is still settling but one thing I hope we can all agree on – this has been NottinghamForest’s best season in over 30 years. A season of lots of highs and invariably some lows as well. A season where records were broken and words like UNITY, SPIRIT, CONSISTENCY AND BOUNCE-BACK-ABILTY were staples on this channel.
