About two years ago I made this video titled “How To Make Art Everyday With a 9-5” which you can check out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzQ1DpaHBTI&t=0s Within that video, I discussed a level of daily creative productivity that was sustainable as a long-term lifestyle choice. I also spoke on how to give your creative projects an average of 22-28 hours a week or more without burning out and how a creative schedule could help you stay on track with maintaining those hours and moving the needle consistently. 

Since that video came out my life changed a bit due to the global pandemic that keeps on giving. So here I am 2 years later with an update to my morning creative routine!

For today’s episode I was wondering if you guys felt like your drawing skills or your overall art skills have kind of stagnated? This is a feeling I go through every now and again honestly and I think it’s normal to feel this way sometimes. I’m reminded that it’s an irrational feeling when I compare my current work to my older work but none the less you always want to be improving. With that said, I’ve come up with 5 ways/tips to improve your drawing skills whenever you’re feeling this way. Some of these I’ve already applied and seen visible improvements, some I plan to apply more thoroughly, and one of these 5 I’m excited to try for the first time.
