We kick off the new year by talking to Holly Frey and Payne Lindsey. This is a bit of a lost episode because we recorded this interview live at DragonCon September 2022, but the audio went missing, and we recently acquired a third-party's audio of the talk.
If you don't know our guests, Holly Frey has been a host of the award-winning podcast Stuff You Missed in History Class for 10 years and created and hosts the historical true crime podcast Criminalia which is a joint production of iHeartRadio and Shondaland Audio. She has executive produced numerous other shows for iHeartRadio Podcast Network, including Dressed: The History of Fashion.
Payne Lindsey is a director, and award-winning documentary filmmaker. The Atlanta area native founded Tenderfoot TV in 2016, co-creating and hosting the company’s flagship show “Up and Vanished,” which spawned Tenderfoot’s first television series by the same name. Payne would also host the critically acclaimed “Atlanta Monster” and the anthology series “Radio Rental.”
