- James 1:2-4 NKJV. You are made to overcome trials because God designed you that way. When tests come, remember that you are more than a conqueror. You are not stuck in the storm, you are going through it. Throw your counterpunch by speaking the Word. Remind yourself that you are more than a conqueror. Remind the storm that God lives in you!

You have to create and enforce boundaries with family and friends. Understanding your values allows you to guide your life in a way that makes sense to you and frees you from unnecessary conflict with others. One of the quickest ways to create peace with other people is to be upfront about your values. 2+2=5? The sky is green? Fine, whatever. Get on with your day, and don’t let these people disturb your peace.
