  • #TBR74 - Beers that cost big bucks.
The all new and improved #TallBoyRadio #Podcast - the #Beer #Review with a difference. This week we take a look at beers that are just a little bit more expensive that your regular 4 pack. Would you pay it? What's the most you'd be happy to pay? Would you drink a beer out of a squirrel?? We'd love to hear from you guys on this. We also take a look at what defines an #AbbeyAle as well as what qualifies a beer as a #CraftBeer. We take a look at the Belgian Brewery in a legal battle to protect it's water source. There's stories on Meantime brewery making a beer for #RecordStoreDay and a new concept #IndieBeerDay - the beer equivalent of RSD. We hear about people in the States protesting against beers and their record of treatment of the #LGBTQ+ community and conversely the beer companies pulling their adverts from news stations that aren't "woke". There's also the answer to the question "Why did #Brewdog reduce the ABV of it's #ElvisJuice beer?" Go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy...

  • #TBR73 - Episode LXXIII : A new era
The all new and improved TBR podcast, now with more #Beer! Welcome to the #TallBoyRadio #Podcast - The #Beer review with a difference. In the news this week, we take a look at #Brewdog and the rumours circulating of it being a toxic working environment. There's a new beer from #Beavertown and the news that English and West Ham footballer #DeclanRice has never had a beer in his life. We taste test our own beer, Stone Gold Stunner. In the ABC of beer we look at the growing market for #nonalcoholicbeers and recognizer friend of the show, Johnny Simo's achievements. Grimbergen open a new brewery for the 1st time in 200 years and there's a look at the #Titanic #Brewery in Burslem, Stoke and their legendary Plum Porter. • #TBR72 - Good endings, Bad endings
There's nothing worse than a good movie with a bad ending... but when the guys in Hollywood nail it, it can be a thing of beauty. Beans, Gaz and Andy take a look at the times that they got it right and the times that they got it way wrong. The idea for this episode came from Dayle, one of our listeners. Thanks for the idea, Dayle. Go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy!

  • #TBR70 - Come at me, Bro!
Beans, Gaz and Andy review the first beer from Double Trouble's beer club - the Ally Pale ale... before they crack on with the dumbest idea we've had for a podcast episode yet. Come at me, Bro : The game. You get 8 cards. 6 fighters of mixed ability and 2 wild card weapon cards. 2 players draw a card and discuss who would win the fight with the non-participants have the final say to the outcome... you can then turn the tables and arm the loser with a wildcard weapon and see if you can turn the tide. Points are awarded for winning, probably. Dumb idea, yeah? Good fun though. I guarantee you'll play it at least once. We emailed the makers of Top Trumps. We're yet to hear back. Their loss!

  • #TBR69 - Unsolved Crime
Beans, Gaz and Andy each pick a crime that remains unsolved and break down the case, looking at the information that is known and the reasons why it remains unsolved. Andy takes a look at the Zodiak killer. There's plenty of conjecture around the perpetrator and the complex riddle of clues but no one has been charged with the murders. Beans talks about the only unsolved case of air piracy, that of DB Cooper. Did he survive his dramatic escape? and could a deathbed confession be genuine? Gaz talks about the case of Madeleine McCann. Taken from their holiday home in Portugal after being left unattended by her parents, very little is known about the crime. The focus is now on a German man who seems to be connected to the crime. Will there ever be a definitive conclusion to this case? Go grab yourself a cold one, and help us examine the case files.

  • #TBR68 - Where were you when...?
Where were you when... We take a look at those events that are so shocking that you remember where you were. Every generation has them. For our parents it was the assassination of JFK. For us it was the fatal car accident that took the life of Princess Diana and of course, the terrorist acts in New York City on September the 11th, 2001. We also share some other events that we also remember. It's a deeper episode than we normally do so grab yourself a cold one.

  • #TBR67 - Sporting heroes
This week, Beans, Gaz and Andy talk about their sporting heroes. It's an interesting mix. There's those that play on a team and stood out ad then there's individual sportsmen. There's the odd curveball too... players from teams they don't support and some dude you probably won't have heard of. As always we love to hear your sporting heroes. There are no wrong answers (other than Spurs players obviously). Go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy!
