Alina is in the Class of 2025 at Christian Brothers and has been an advocate for autism awareness since 6th grade. She has presented to the MIND Institute at UC Davis and the Sacramento City Unified School District. She is very open about discussing her experience as a student who is among the neurodiverse. In their last semester of their senior year, Talon staff members Alicia Wood, Taylor Paton, and Margaret Wanket unpack the rejection they have faced throughout their high school careers. They share the things they wish they had done differently and the things they knew at the time.

In this episode of the pod, two beautiful CB men, Mr. Paul Havey '81 and Joe Dozier '22 discuss a subject close their hearts: grief. Although difficult to discuss openly in society, grief is something that affects us all. Grief takes many forms and can lead to unhealthy and harmful behaviors.
