Tamara Dean is a critically acclaimed photo media artist working in photography, installation, moving imagery and performance art. Her works explore such themes as the tender relationship between humans and the natural world, the role of ritual in daily life as well as the fragility of our precious planet.

Tamara studied at the College of Fine Arts and went on to work as a photojournalist before dedicating herself solely to her artistic career. She has won a multitude of awards and her works have been exhibited around the world and are held in numerous private collections as well as several of Australia's finest galleries. Whilst photography forms the basis of her means of expression, to describe her simply as a photographer would be an injustice. She's an artist poet, a storyteller, an activist, a devoted mother and someone who is deeply connected to following the calling of the heart where ever it may take you.
