Happy NEW year, Tapers and Tapees!
Welcome to 2020, and an unofficial season 2.5 from the Tape-Zaddies! I hope you all got exactly what you wanted out of the previous decade, because it's all over now. This week we spent our time recovering from Rise of the Drama-walker with the 1987 Mel Brooks classic Spaceballs! With Bill Pullman, Joan Rivers, John Candy, and Pizza the Hut, you KNOW it's gonna get saucy in here. Sit back, relax, and find out if Spaceballs holds up in a world dominated with mouse-themed monopolization!

Ho Ho Ho, Tapes! Tapes! Tapes!
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy SOLSTICE and Happy Holidays to all of our wonderful listeners! This week, we're kicking it back to when ol' Timmy Burts was making good movies with Batman Returns from 1992, starring Michael Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny Devito, and Christopher Walken. Does this macabre, goofy, darkly comic take on the beloved Batman character and DC world deserve to stand along the other great Christmas classics out there? Join us, find out, and we will return after a short(ish) break in the new year. Enjoy the holidays, be safe, and your Tape-Daddies will be back next DECADE!

Welcome baaaaack to another week, hot off the presses with Tapes! Tapes! Tapes! This week, the Tape-Daddies explore 2000's Bring It On, starring Kirsten Dunst and a whole lot of spirit fingers. Does the comedy classic stand up to the pressures of time? Can we escape time immemorial? What is the different between a clementine and a tangerine?! Find out at least one of those things, on this week's episode of Tapes! Tapes! Tapes!

Hey Tapers!
Sorry not sorry for the clickbait title, and welcome to this week's edition of Tapes! Tapes! Tapes! Yes, before the mega-ultimate blockbuster string of films we know and love (or at least we all know), Marvel's Avengers, there was an British TV series called "The Avengers" from the 1960's. This week's movie was an attempt at grabbing that nostalgia bone, ripping off James Bond and Get Smart in the process, and showcasing some of the worst on-screen chemistry ever with Ralph Fiennes, Uma Thurman, and Sean Connery! How bad is it? How good is it? Give us a listen and fiiiind ouuuuttttt!!!

Hi Tapers!
Ooooooh BOY how exciting to finally be tackling a RELIABLY GOOD animated movie for arguably the first time in Tapes! Tapes! Tapes! history! Hayao Miyazaki captured the world with this classic from 1988, the legacy of which endures to this day. What exactly makes Totoro such a staple for children and adults alike? Cozy up with your favorite cup of tea, turn on some sort of rain simulator, and let the Tape-Daddies take you to wholesome land this week. Aaaahhhhh...

Hi Tape-civilians,
Get locked and loaded for 1991's action and Arnold classic, Terminator 2: Judgment Day! James Cameron's sequel to the tech-noir classic Terminator cemented the blueprint for action movies even to this day, and we still give him lots and lots of money for it. Let us know what you think of our thinking, and we'll all be uploaded to the cloud within our lifetime so remember to update!

Hey HORRIBLE fans!
Get it? We're LYING! Welcome to this weeks Tapes! Tapes! Tapes! This week, we are focusing on the Jim Carrey comedy classic Liar Liar from 1997. The ever rubber-faced comedy king is back at it again, and the Tape-Daddies are here to tell you if this one floats on as a Carrey Classic, or is it a "Dark Crime", like Jim's movie choice from 2018?? Seriously, go look at that trailer for THAT hot garbage water, whewwww! Anyway, enjoy the chuckles and buckles!

Hellooooo Taperssss!!
Just now I considered calling you all "Tapirs", but I didn't know if anyone would understaaaaand what a Tapir is (google them, they're almost as cute as you are). Anyway, welcome to this week's fantastical episode, with the cult comedy classic Pee Wee's Big Adventure from 1985! Starring none other than Paul Reubens, and featuring the directorial debut of Tim Burton, there's a LOT to unpack this week. So strap in with your gumdrops, your elbow-shoes, and your Rube Goldberg machines, and enjoy this week on Tapes! Tapes! Tapes!
