Rose Red and Jaymi discuss various simple daily tarot/oracle practices. We cover daily draws in both the morning and evening varieties. Listen in as we tell you how to build better relationships with your deities, or spirits, using a daily devotional. Expand your tarot knowledge by bringing in a three-card draw to craft sentences. These are just a few ideas to get you going. You can find many more spreads or ideas online to supplement and build your practice.

No matter what yours looks like, we recommend you keep a notebook or journal of your records. Use it to recognize patterns or see how your philosophies change over time. Composition notebooks are cheap and are a great place to start for those adverse to writing things down.

Rose Red and Jaymi invite Winifred from AwenTree in East Hampton, MA to talk shop, literally. AwenTree carefully curates the store with a carefully crafted eye to the unique: blending unique consignment pieces with popular items from traditional companies. Winifred gives us insight into how a store gets turned into a community center; how to approach proprietors to read in-store; and discusses how she weaves her unique healing modalities into her personal practices. Her big tip to reading in stores is for readers to build a following so they can then bring them into the stop. It’s a relationship to help promote each other.

In addition to running a wonderful store, Winifred started a new online outreach community component to awentree. Called the Witching Well, this “virtual gathering space” reaches out to solitary pagans wanting to connect and learn more about the path. Sadly, the group is closed at the moment, as she is running the first series by Founding Members. Winifred plans to re-open around September 9, 2019.

She is also working on an oracle deck with her best friend, Melissa Stratton Pandina. The images are all finished; they’re waiting to complete the book before considering publication. Currently titled, Oracle of the Seer, the deck focuses intent around those wanting a blend of shamanic/seership/pagan practices.
