We then transition back to a more serious topic as we discuss the recent reports published about the Southern Baptist Convention and their handling, or lack of handling, of sexual abuse allegations in the past.
We seek to become facilitators on this weeks podcast as we allow the voices of women to be heard regarding these accusations and what it means for those in power, the church, and changes moving forward. We do not want to be complicit to these behaviors and seek to honor those most impacted by the behaviors of others. Hopefully this is evident in the show and handled with the care we intend.

They discuss the progression of suicidal ideations, symptoms of suicidal individuals, and steps to increasing safety for someone who is struggling. Hopefully this brings insight to a much avoided topic and creates awareness for those who are silently struggling.
