The Celtics beat the Jazz 122-114 in another full team effort. Derrick White was the player of the game in the first half, Brogdon probably was in the second half and Tatum played great throughout. Derrick White had 15pts at halftime and was super efficient getting to the rim and then was slow in the second half. Brogdon was slow in the first half with only 4pts at half but he ended the game with 19pts 7ast including one of the best 4 possession swing we have seen in a long time. Right when the Jazz went on a run in the third to bring our lead down to 72-68, Brogdon goes out and hits back to back 3s, then drives and dishes to Grant for an open 3 and then hits another 3 of his own the next possession so 12pts in 4 possessions all because of Brogdon.

Tatum was really good throughout this game though. He ended the night with 39pts 11reb 3ast 3stl and was super efficient from the field once again. He shot 12-17 from the field and 5-8 from 3 all while hitting 10-11 FTs. These last two games from Tatum have been MVP level performances. Outside of those 3 guys, Blake played really well in that starting role bringing a ton of energy to the court as well as adding 6pts 12reb and 5ast. His passing was off the charts in this one. Grant played a really solid game as well. He played the exact role we want him to be playing. Excellent defensively and shooting really well from the field. Smart was a little trigger happy in this one and JB was just off. It was not a great night for either of them but the Celtics pulled through it all for a big win getting within 1.5 games of the Bucks for the 1 seed and not quite but pretty much locked ourselves in a 1 or 2 seed now that we are 2.5 games up on Philly and also have the tiebreaker.
