The Celtics made it back on track in a very impressive 123-119 win over the Chicago Bulls. When the Celtics lost to the Bulls last week, we were outrebounded 60-45. The Celtics outrebounded the Bulls 39-37 tonight. Same thing happened against the Cavs where we flipped the rebounding script a bit. After a brutal start to the year, the Celtics have made a clear effort to rebound better as a team these last two games and it shows. While the rebounding was nice, Tatum and Brogdon were spectacular in this one. Tatum was 17-20 from the FT line which is a career high for him but that is not where it ends. He led the team in pts with 36, led the team in rebounds with 12 and led the team in assists with 6. This is just a really solid game overall for him.

Brogdon was the other piece that was phenomenal in this one. He seemed to hit big shot after big shot and led this teams second unit to some really meaningful minutes. Every single bench player that got minutes (Grant, Hauser, Kornet and Brogdon) ended with a positive +/- which is unheard of in today's NBA. This is a really solid win against a good Chicago team. The Celtics play again tomorrow night in MSG against the Knicks where they hope to make it 2 in a row.
