There’s another wrinkle… Our so-called bliss changes.

Our choices lead to lessons learned on a pathway that is ever altering through our experiences.

We level UP. 

We level D…o…w……n.

We level back UP. Again… The cycle repeats. …and sometimes repeats and repeats.

Faith helps. Crystals do too, as do rosaries, crosses… But to conjure the Law of Attraction takes much more than a talisman…functioning brain, vibrant mind, and serious intent.

What turns the key lies inside. 

Prayer works for many, but I’ve found meditation takes the power of prayer and magnifies it times one-trillion. But once this decision is made reconciliation with organized religion is inevitable.

I started in the church, but I’ve done the deep work to disengage from this man-made architecture that works to lasso human spirit. 

The secrets I’ve learned have been in front of humans for over 2,000 years. 

It’s time to re-educate ourselves.

 

Sacred To Psychic: Cosmic Boot Camp – 1

As a thriller writer, my women characters live where there are few safe spaces. Territory I’ve traversed throughout my life.

Fiction has inspired me to articulate what lies in the hidden spaces where we surf between dark shadows.

Themes of disruption arise when our sacred outreach taps on psychic portals.

This is my playground.

This first episode is an introduction, but what we’ll explore in SACRED TO PSYCHIC PODCAST is the road map I’ve discovered.

And while shares of print and e-book readers are similar to those from a survey conducted in 2016, there has been a modest but statistically significant increase in the share of Americans who read audiobooks, from 14% to 18%. [Pew Research]

Audiobooks are hot.

Younger adults – Nearly one-quarter (23%) of 18- to 29-year-olds have listened to an audiobook in the past 12 months, compared with 16% who had done so in 2016.

College graduates – The share of college graduates who have read a print book or listened to an audiobook in the past 12 months has increased by 6 and 7 percentage points, respectively, since 2016. Notably, the share of high school graduates who have listened to an audiobook in the past 12 months has nearly doubled over that same time frame, from 9% in 2016 to 16% today.

Rural adults – Adults living in various community types are equally likely to listen to audiobooks. But 17% of those living in rural areas have listened to an audiobook in the past 12 months, up from 10% in 2016.

Audiobooks were always part of the plan when I dove into fiction.

Olivia’s Turn is a perfect dramatic vehicle for an audiobook.

The book is about the past we harbor and that we shun and put aside because we are afraid to walk through the darkness to get to the other side so we can use what has made us who we are without triggering insanity, or nervous collapse.

How far would you go to get what you want?

Olivia Stark isn’t any different than the male characters in Showtime’s “Billions,” who go to extremes to fulfill their desires.

It’s just few people expect such fierce behavior from a woman.
