  • The Trump White House, Midterms, And Much More: With Guest, Tara Setmayer
There is no “I” in team which explains why Trump has no team.
The definition professional behavior in the context of attorneys in the Special Counsel’s office, the intelligence services, and law enforcement includes the ability of these persons to separate personal preferences or agendas from the demands of their jobs or portfolios of authority. Again, this definition explains Trump who can not understand how anyone can act without some form of individual profit. In Trump’s worldview Virtue is Vice and greed is the greatest of all virtues in his vicedom.
Mr. McGahn knew full well what he was signing onto in becoming Chief Counsel to the Don. If he now is cutting bait (and making plea deals), he must know the levee won’t hold the flood of corruption behind it.
This kabuki theater only reinforces the sense that Tump is hiding something big. It's not the obstruction of justice, which is playing out in plain sight. It's the underlying conspiracy to collude with Russians to steal a presidential election. That's where the biggest jeopardy lays. Mueller knows and should reveal this to the public as soon as possible.
There's an important element of timeliness here. Trump's ongoing criminal behavior and outrageous statements are normalizing his criminality. Add that to his increasing attacks on otherwise reputable federal agencies and senior public servants, and real harm is being done.
I think we all know where this should end. There's no need to gild the investigative lily. Let's get the basic case against Trump out in time for elections to rein in this stain on our democracy.

  • Transgender Women Are Running For Office In 2018: Alexandra Chandler Joins Us
If we want better outcomes, we must have the courage to demand better from our leaders. Alexandra knows something about courage: in 2006, as a transgender woman, she was one of the first in the U.S. intelligence community to transition on the job. Alexandra is the only candidate in this race who has worked in national security. She got things done against some of the toughest challenges in the world, and will work across boundaries to get things done in Congress. As a former intelligence analyst, Alexandra will lead in the effort to stand up for the integrity of our democracy against threats foreign and domestic. She will work to ensure Russia never dares to interfere with our elections again.
As the next Congresswoman from Massachusetts's 3rd District, Alexandra will stand up for jobs and better pay. She will stand up for better healthcare at a lower cost, on the way to universal health care and paid family leave for everyone. She will stand up for better addiction treatment, for common-sense gun safety solutions, for voting rights and civil liberties, and for policies to combat climate change.
She will stand up for working people, middle class people, women, people of color, immigrants, veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBT people against President Trump’s attacks on us.

  • Trumpism, The Midterms, And Much More: With Guest, David Jolly
Former US Congressman, David Jolly ,served in the US House of Representatives from 2014 to 2017. A student of the institution, Jolly has held virtually every position in Congress, from intern to Member, and has worked outside the Congress as an attorney and political consultant, as well as in specialty finance.
Known for his fierce independent streak and bipartisan approach, Jolly was first elected in a special election in Florida, a Republican winning a Democratic-leaning district. It was his first run for elective office and became one of the most expensive Congressional races in US history at the time.
Today, Jolly can often be seen as a policy and politics analyst on MSNBC and CNN, including making regular appearances on The 11th Hour with Brian Williams, Hardball with Chris Matthews, CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, Deadline White House with Nicolle Wallace, All In with Chris Hayes, and many others.
The Washington Post has said, “Jolly speaks the truth.” and the Tampa Bay Times has said, “It’s refreshing to hear someone take on the system.” And upon leaving Congress, one columnist penned, “Farewell to the one Congressman willing to compromise.”

  • A Former Trump Supporter Had A Change Of Heart: W/ Special Guest, David Weissman
I used to be That Guy. I always voted Republican. I watched Fox News. I read clickbait articles on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. I echoed these slanted talking points when I was a Radio show guest prior to the 2016 Presidential General Election. In one sense, I was just your average, conservative, pro-Israel Jewish American. Yet, I was also a full-fledged, unapologetic, red-hat wearing Trumper.
Then came the moment that changed my life in politics and social media.

  • Cohen, Stormy, Trump & The Border Crisis: With Special Guest, Michael Avenatti
The attorney Michael Avenatti stands just under six feet tall, with blatant blue eyes and thinning hair he shaves down to stubble, exposing the crumpled vein at his left temple. Before February, when he agreed to represent Stephanie Clifford — the ographic film performer better known as Stormy Daniels — in her legal battle with the president of the United States, Avenatti was in the best shape of his life: 185 pounds, 9 percent body fat. The ever-expanding pressures of the case have meant less time at the gym, and in recent months he has lost some muscle weight. But his cheeks and chin remain Cubist in their geometry, and in motion, head lowered and shoulders hunched, he still has the bearing of a light-heavyweight brawler.
Like Trump, Avenatti is all Freudian id, loudmouthed and cocky. “I’m a mercenary,” he acknowledged to me. “That’s what people hire me for, and I don’t apologize for it.” He traffics primarily in a commodity in short supply among left-leaning voters: hope. The House minority leader, Nancy Pelosi, recently told The New Yorker that she doesn’t “like to talk about impeachment,” but Avenatti has gleefully predicted Trump will be out of the office before his term ends.

  • The Trump Fiasco Continues: With Special Guest, Cheri Jacobus
Trump’s actions as President are obvious indications of his overall behavior and intentions. Trump’s past dealing are also obvious indicators on how he conducts himself as president.
All of this will be meaningless if Trump doesn’t end up in jail. Impeachment alone could be considered a victory for Trump. The very survival of our democracy is predicated on Trump going to jail, preferably for life. We let Nixon walk, and now we have Trump because of it. If Trump knew ahead of time that criminal behavior in office would land him in jail, he would have never run in the first place.
This country needs to send a very clear message on this issue: Without exception, if you commit a serious crime while in office, you go to jail?—?period. When, exactly, did this country decide that the greater your office and responsibility, the less you should be held accountable for your actions?
Rather than people like the president and police officers, etc, being held to a higher standard, they are held to a lesser one. Like Nixon, Trump seems to think that since he occupies the highest office in the land, he should be held to the lowest standard of conduct and accountability. This notion is patently antithetical to the very idea of equal justice under the law.
If Trump escapes justice, than the promise and ideals of this nation will be permanently rendered moot.

  • Trump Rages, Rosenstein, Cohen's Tapes, The Midterms: With Guest Molly Jong-Fast
We are a large country with diverse ideas. For Democrats to move more to the left as a party is to embrace the idea of forcing more radical policies onto those citizens who disagree, not to work at compromise or solutions that work for all citizens. Let’s take note of what has happened to the Republican party since the birth of the Tea Party. It has split the party to the point of destroying it and has led to radical politics on the right. Why would we Democrats want to repeat their mistakes?
If the Democrats go too far to the left, they may blow it. If they can’t win in 2018, they are already in trouble for 2020. If they lose 2020, Trump may have four Supreme Court justices during his presidency, making the court 7–2 for the next couple decades or so, not to mention an extension of the carnage he has already unleashed.
Notice how organized labor?—?the real bastion of the left?—?is backing the “mainstream” or “centrist” Democrats. In the topsy-turvy world we live in, the “centrists” are the real left, and “the left” are right-wing identitarians. They’re the nonwhite version of the white nationalists they profess to hate so much. I will give Sanders credit, he is for real, but throwing his lot in with these groups will dilute whatever appeal his message might have by tying it to identity politics and open borders. The working-classes will never back those positions.

  • Flint, Michigan Still Without Clean Drinking Water: Guest, Lance Cooper Joins Us
FLINT SHOULD HAVE SAFE, CLEAN DRINKING WATER BY NOW!
Lance Cooper (Activist/Community Leader) located in Richmond, Virginia. #RVAFlint was created to get Lance's city and the world, actively involved in supplying the residents of Flint, Michigan with clean drinking water as a result of the contamination. Mr. Cooper launched the #SaveFlintChallenge and is calling on others to start a GoFundMe in their neighborhoods to get more bottled water to Flint, Michigan. "Hopefully the GoFundMe community will answer the call." - Lance Cooper

April 6th Gov. Rick Snyder announced the end of a free bottled water program in Flint, citing the water quality was acceptable, but that isn't the truth. The residents of Flint STILL don't have access to clean drinking water, unless someone in the community like Little Miss Flint or Pastor Rob, provides it for them. Further investigation reveals the replacement of all the lead pipes necessary to provide clean water to Flint residents, won't be completed until 2020.

  • Occupy Lafayette Park & The Midterms: W/ Guests, Philippe Reines & Tiffany Bond
Normally, Lafayette Park is one of those pretty, history-drenched spots in Washington, where you walk around wondering whose footsteps you might be following. You’re right across from the White House, close enough that you can practically see into the front windows. Now, though, the most important thing to know about this D.C. spot is what Occupy Lafayette Park is?—?because the square might just be full of anti-Trump protestors. Courtesy, @bustle
The elections held on Tuesday, November 6, are the first midterms under President Donald Trump, and the stakes for both parties are incredibly high. A fired up Democratic base threatens Republicans’ unified control of federal government?—?and the outcome could have lasting consequences for the remainder of President Trump’s presidency and his legacy.
If Democrats do well and flip one or both chambers of Congress, they could slow down Trump and the Republicans’ legislative agenda?—?or open up serious investigations into Trump, his administration, and his associates. But if the GOP retains control of both chambers, they’ll have a shot at introducing sweeping policy changes that could impact our nation for decades to come. Courtesy, @voxdotcom
