During our Easter Sunrise Service we read about five response to the resurrection of Christ. What is your response to the good news that the grave is empty and He is risen-

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked- So what are we to do. Many times our heart deceives us into thinking we are better, but perhaps more often God's people are fooled into thinking we are not good enough. We can't trust our heart, but we can trust the one who searches, tests, and knows our heart.

On what we call Palm Sunday, Christ triumphantly entered Jerusalem only to be betrayed repeatedly by the crowd, rulers, leaders, and his disciples. If we are honest--even by ourselves- BUT, God showed His love for us that while w were still sinner, Christ died for us.

We are to be obedient to the Lord in all things. It is He who gives the increase- it is not up to us or about us. We are simply to obey His voice and love Him.

We are reminded in this Psalm what we need for a successful life in Him.

The Scriptures tell use to be generous with all, even our enemies. God has been generous to us, giving life, finances, time, emotions, friendships, and most importantly His son. We should imitate God and be generous to others in our good works.

Concerned on the state of the world and the war between Russia and Ukraine we present some thoughts on- The Cause of War-Sin, Rumors of War, Living Peaceably with all-as far as it depends on you, Moral Panics - Virtue Signaling, and are reminded-God is not on our side. Instead, we are to live the Fruit of the Spirit, be ready, be transformed, and be on His side.

Sin is something we don't like to talk about- but understanding how we 'miss the mark' is essential for salvation and daily living. We can not believe in sin, ignore it, excuse it, and try to move the target, but we still will fail the standard because we don't set the standard. God has told us, 'to be holy as He is holy' - a positive command to bring us back to a relationship with Him.

Today we take a closer look at the Beatitudes to understand the characteristics of the Christian life. How we should act and the rewards and blessings -happiness- that come spiritually. We also receive encouragement when we are persecuted, attacked, and on trial for living righteously.

Let's be honest, we're not alright- We are anxious, worried, burdened, busy, distracted, overwhelmed, and troubled by many things. We must learn from Martha, Mary, and Jesus how to choose the good and better part- the one thing that is necessary, that matters, and will not be taken away-service to our Lord. Choose Him first because that's what's better for us -our advantage-, will last eternally, and all these 'other' things will be added unto you.
