We continue our exploration of who God is with a look at Justice and Mercy. Justice is what should be and dispensing of punishment for what is not. Mercy God's compassionate love toward us. We all deserve justice for our sin, but Jesus Christ and God's Mercy provides a way for justice to be fulfilled.

God is good- That statement rings true in all ways and for all time, 'No one is good except for God.' Why did he care for us, create us, send His Son to die for us--not because we deserved it, but because He is good. God is also faithful. He protects us from evil, limits temptations, forgives sin and sanctifies us and will do so because he keeps his promises.

We continue to explore a right way to think of God. Today we describe that God is Wisdom, His Omnipotence, - Omnipresence. God has our highest welfare in mind, the wisdom to plan it, and the power to achieve it-

As we continue our exploration of who God is so that we may have a proper view of Him and thus honor and worship Him as we ought, we consider several more attributes today. God is immutable- that is He does not change. God is Omniscience- that is He knows everything. God is self-existing- He did not come from anywhere.

We continue our study of who God is- perusing a proper view of Him so we can give Him Honor and Thanks or Worship. We proclaim God as Self-sufficient- the father has life in himself and He does not need anything. God is Eternity- from everlasting to everlasting. He is outside of time and has no beginning. He is Infinite- limitless, boundless, and immeasurable. And yet, he choose to give us grace, mercy, love, peace, and hope- Oh how wonderful our God-

We continue our study of who God is- perusing a proper view of Him so we can give Him Honor and Thanks or Worship. We proclaim God as incomprehensible- as in not the same or resembling the created. Ultimately, we cannot describe God with reason and logic, but we can know him through faith and love. Then, we consider attributes of God- something true about Himself that He revels to us through creation, Scripture, - Christ. These are not parts of God, but a unified nature. He is not part love and part wrath, but both together- Incomprehensible, right-

-They knew God, but did not honor Him as God or give thanks to Him. -This is how the downfall of a society begins. Next we develop futile thinking, become foolish with darkened hearts, exchange God for idols, are given up to our lusts and a depraved mind saturated with sin. We know better--through creation, but choose self, greed, hate, deception, and a debased mind. The only way out of the destruction of culture is the proper fear, honor, and worship of God- resulting in filling of the Spirit.

Are you pleasing to God- It's an important question, one with an eternal reward and one that guides us as we live each day. Is it your constant ambition to please Him- We need a shift in mind-set to reconsider what we do on a moment by moment basis and understand what is pleasing to the Lord. It involves bringing every thing that we do -social media, video, music, motives, games, time- captive to Him.

The Scriptures tell us there is eternal life. A life after this physical body dies. We will spend eternity in one of two places, heaven or hell. Christ died to save us so we could begin our 'life' now and spend eternity with Him. -Do you believe this-- A vital question that we must ask ourselves.

Have you considered that the same stars and moon we see in the night sky today is the same Adam and Eve, Noah, Isaiah, Daniel, and even Jesus looked at- They have been the same, just a God has remained the same yesterday, today and forever. Importantly, the Spirit that indwells believers is the same that was before creation and will be after the moon and stars are gone.
