  • June 29th 2025 "ACTS Chapter 21, 22, & 23"
Today we follow Paul as he begins his journey back to Jerusalem, where an intense and chaotic week awaits. Upon his arrival, Paul is warmly received by the believers, but things quickly become complicated. He is asked to participate in a purification ceremony—something he doesn’t fully agree with, but he complies in an effort to maintain peace. While in the temple, Paul is recognized and falsely accused, leading to his violent arrest by Roman soldiers. What follows is a dramatic courtroom scene filled with confusion and hostility. He is beaten, misunderstood, and nearly killed by the crowd. Yet in the midst of this turmoil, at the end of the week, Jesus appears to Paul and says, “Take courage.” In the chaos, we’re reminded that Christ meets us in our most difficult moments with the strength we need to endure.

  • June 22nd 2025 "ACTS Chapter 19 & 20"
Today we look at Acts 19 & 20 where Paul is in Ephesus meeting disciples who only knew John’s baptism. He teaches them about Jesus, and they receive the Holy Spirit. Paul then teaches for two years in the lecture hall of Tyrannus, spreading the gospel throughout Asia. Paul's message threatens the idol trade, and Demetrius the silversmith stirs up a riot, but the city clerk calms the crowd.
In Acts 20, Paul travels through Macedonia and Greece, strengthening the churches. In Troas, he raises Eutychus from the dead after the young man falls during a long sermon. On his way to Jerusalem, Paul stops in Miletus and gives a heartfelt farewell to the Ephesian elders. He reminds them of his example, warns of future false teachers, and urges them to care for the church. Though hardship awaits, Paul is determined to obey God’s call.

    Happy Father’s Day!
As Paul traveled with Silas, they were joined by Timothy in Lystra. Led by the Holy Spirit, they shared the Gospel, leading Lydia to Christ, casting out a spirit from a slave girl, and eventually finding themselves imprisoned. But even behind bars, they didn’t stop worshiping. As they prayed and praised God at midnight, an earthquake shook the prison, opening the doors and breaking their chains. Through their faith, a jailer and his entire household came to believe and were baptized. Today, we’re reminded that no matter the opposition or trials we face, God still gives us opportunities. Like Paul and Silas, we can choose to worship in the middle of hardship. Let’s not allow our circumstances to silence our praise or weaken our trust in our Heavenly Father, who is always with us guiding, strengthening, and working through us..

  • June 8th 2025 "Acts Chapter 15"
Today, we reflect on one of the early church's pivotal gatherings and how the Holy Spirit intervened to guide and grow the church family while preserving its unity and structure. As tensions rose over how Gentile believers were being received particularly with added requirements that distorted the message of salvation, the leaders came together to seek clarity. Through this moment, we’re reminded that salvation is not earned by layers of tradition or law, but is a gift of grace.
We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone.

  • May 25th 2025 "Memorial Day Service"
Today, we honor Memorial Day a time to remember that our freedom has come at a great cost. We are reminded of the power of sacrifice. Just as Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice to give us new life, we reflect on those who gave their lives for our nation. We also look back to the early church in the book of Acts, where believers made great sacrifices for the sake of the Gospel and for future generations including us. This day is not only about remembrance but also about humility. We humble ourselves in gratitude, honoring those who have gone before us by living lives of purpose, faith, and service.
