We are finally wrapping up season 2 of the podcast.
A very chatty episode, it may not seem like it on socials but I've been hibernating and it feels like I'm coming out of my cocoon to ponder on different realisation of 2024 thus far. From saying goodbye to parts of myself, to losing touch with friends, anxiety and transitional periods. It's all felt like a whirlwind. But grab a seat and lets chat through it all.
Thank you to everyone who's listened to the Taylu Podcast. Incredibly excited for what's to come in season 3.
Until then sending all my love.

I've been saying it for sometime that I'm finishing up season 2 of the podcast but in true Cynthia fashion the episodes have kept going. But once again (this time for real), this is the second last episode of season and 2 and the last guest of the season.
I couldn't be more grateful to have Manahou on the pod. She is someone I've admired for years and anyone who has been in her presence can attest for her magnetic energy. We touch on a range of topics in this episode, from finding our way in the fashion industry, to dissecting what it even means to 'find yourself' and making way for other pursuits, heritage and much more. Get comfy as we speak openly about life at the moment.

In this weeks episode I sit with my dear friend Duc to just simply chat.
Huddled in the corner at parties, I would always find myself having diverse discussions with Duc and in turn our friendship blossomed.
From chatting about being loners when we were growing up, to our thoughts on AI and whether or not we would install chips in our brains, this conversation takes many turns, pauses and laughs. I'm always inspired by Duc's curiosity and openness to this world and so grateful to have had him on the pod. Enjoy my loves.

Hey My loves,
In this weeks episode I speak about my personal experience dating in Australia as a black woman. I've felt hesitant speaking about dating on a public forum as we're ever evolving as humans. However, I've found by hearing other peoples experiences has helped me feel more seen. I'm moving towards vulnerability and exploring experiences that have impacted me.
Enjoy!

This episode was recorded back in February of 2024, days before Liam was about to embark on a new chapter in London Town. Filled with laughter, vulnerability and that ease you get when chatting to friends, our conversation feels very coming of age. When one chapter closes we may as well reflect on the things that brought us to this point. We explore moving to a new city, coming into ourselves, cliques and so much more.
I've split our chat into two episodes because we spoke for two hours straight.
Hope you enjoy. xx

Hello my loves,
We're here once again. I've been pondering on what vulnerability means to me and its role. In an ideal world I think we would all love to bring our full selves to every interaction but that's easier said than done. If Vulnerability means open to attack, than why do we expose ourselves? Although I don't have all the answers, lets explore this and see where we land.

The second last interview of the Taylu Podcast is here and I'm joined with my friend Liv. We've been trying to tee this up for sometime and I'm so incredibly happy it finally happened. It was so inspiring to dive deeper into her upbringing and the moments that have shaped her into who she is. We cover a range of topics from heritage, beauty standards, the modelling industry and much more.
Enjoy!

I've been trying to record this episode for sometime and it's still a concept I'm getting comfortable with. This episode is by no means perfect and perhaps I might revisit it, but as I've always said, this podcast isn't suppose to be perfect. Instead I want to explore topics that interest me, even in the midst of figuring it out.
Embarrassment, we've all experienced it, but what purpose does it serve in our lives and how do we come to terms with it?
Somewhat of a bare bones episode, but I wanted to open the dialogue up and so lets explore.

Recorded in 2020, I interviewed Flavia during Covid times. We hadn't met at this point but jumped on zoom and had such an insightful conversation about modelling, womanhood, black hair, our views on working in the industry and being women of colour.
I truly enjoyed this conversation and although its taken such a long time to upload. I hope you enjoy.
