"Romantasy" or "Fantasy Romance"? What about "Mythic Fantasy with a Romantic Subplot"? We asked prolific writer Sarah K.L. Wilson to help breakdown how the genre titles are shifting, and what that might mean for a text like her gorgeously-written debut (trad published) novel, "The Trident and the Pearl." We also talked about how framing her novel in mythology assumes different expectations on the part of the writer, and how all types of art make for a wonderful reading experience.

Before next Tuesday's episodes drop (two for the price of one, my darlings), we wanted to give those who haven't read either Nightwild Rising nor Reckoning a chance to catch up and see what all the fuss is about.

So, for those readers, here's a little of Lee telling you what to expect, what not to expect, along with what she is reading at the moment.

Finished Nightwild Reckoning and need to know more? We did too! So much so that we cornered Lee Ann and made her tell us all the things about Fae, Cairn and Alleria's bond, and what we might expect in Book 3. Two episodes for the price of one? Just for you, chaos gremlins xo
