We had to take a break to run not one, but two food festivals but we're back with more info on what you should eat and where you should eat it in our fair county.
This week we talk Rum, and partake of a tipple or two, while we discuss all things Jubilee, local markets, events and how we feel about Ryan Reynolds.
We've been out and about a lot, so we have some stories to tell and we can't wait to get to it... so press play!
As always, TC POD is produced by the team at Taste Cheshire with lots of love (our own opinions) and the very best of Taste.

This week's podcast is all about the new. One pub, one restaurant, one coffee shop and we are so happy to be talking about all this newness in the wake of the pandemic.
The Forge Restaurant is now open and we talk about our very special visit there.
The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel has done a wonderful refit on their Nelson's Bar, making that all new again.
Plus a new hang out in the Garden Quarter of Chester, Somewhere Else, is certainly where we'd rather be.
As always TC Pod is made by the team at Taste Cheshire with lots of love and of course the very best of taste.

Ready, steady go....Boris says it's Game on for indoor hospitality from next week so on the podcast we learn how foodie "Tours around Chester" can help you find those hidden gems from Gareth Boyd.
Then we continue the celebrations with a chat to the DOUBLE GOLD winning Great Drams founders Greg and Kirsty Dillon, for whom a podcast is quite normal! They inspire us with their wonderful "give it a go" attitude and their incredible success at rising to whatever challenge comes along.

Ah the Great British weather, but at Taste Cheshire we don't let it put too much of a dampener on things.
This week we focus on the positive. We catch up with Joe Whittick from the food shop heaven that is Whitmore & White and hear how they bucked the lockdown trend to grow their business by embracing a new direction.
We also have a right ole chinwag with Claire Taylor, manager of Urbano32 in Chester City Centre, who is also managing Burgershed41, a whole new menu, a brand new wine list and doing it all with a great big smile on her face.
There's news from our friends at Taste Knutsford and some silliness about sausages since it's National BBQ week apparently.

What a brilliant week we've had.
To celebrate the opening of outdoor hospitality we have been out and about for our very first LIVE episode of TC POD.
We visited the beautiful beer garden at The White Horse, 'The Pub on the course' at Chester Racecourse and raise a glass (or two) to a fantastic venue.
We've been spoilt rotten trying the entire new modern Italian menu at The Yard, plus all the wines and yes we really mean the whole thing!!
Our epic foodie finale was a visit to The Suburbs and trying all the new dishes on their revamped menu!
We talk to owners, managers, chefs and operators and we get excited about the newest gin on the Cheshire Block, Kingdom Recommends.
