This week, we are again in 1980, this time in Northern California and diving into a former cold case: The Sweeetheart Murders. This case takes place in Cindy's hometown of Davis, CA and involves two kids she could have grown up with: smart, well liked, from good families; the kind of people who would go out and make a difference in the world, had they ever been given a chance. Instead, 18 year old sweethearts John Riggins and Sabrina Gonsalves were bruttally murdered on a cold, foggy night in December, taken in the night by a monster who would remain undiscovered for over 20 years.
