This week, Lui 'el gato' Maxted joins the boys to talk a little bit about himself and his tennis career at TCU. We had a really great time getting to know Lui a little bit, and really appreciate him coming on the pod!

Next, we move on to talk about TCU Basketball, and their underwhelming loss to UT on Saturday night. There was some good in this game, but overall, the boys characterized it as a lack of effort. The guys make their picks for player awards, then make their picks for the week before talking about next weekends game away against Iowa State. Jacob ends the episode with an update from the quadrant tracker.

On this week's episode of TCU's 3 Whysmen, the guys had a special guest on. TCU Tennis's very own Pedro Vives joined the show to talk about how he came to TCU, his progression throughout his 2.5 years here, and his expectations for the team this year. TCU Tennis takes on Abilene Christian in their first match of the season on Wednesday at 11:30AM (not 5:30 like Jacob said. He got mixed up with the London time zones).

Next, Jacob and Barrett discuss TCU's disheartenig loss to ISU on Saturday, and why things went so poorly, before giving out their awards for the week. They then talk a little Big12 basketball as they make their pics for the week, before shifting focus towards Oklahoma State and Baylor for this week.

After a... less than fair loss to Kansas last week, the team responded in a way that no one expected. They downed 2 straight top 10 opponents!!!

The guys get together to recap what happened in those wins, and what they saw that was improving. The Oklahoma game was domination most of the way through, and the Houston game started off slowly, but ramped up into a barnburner.

TCU Men's Basketball had an absolutely insane first "real" game of the season on Saturday against Georgetown, winning a thriller 84-83.

Before that, the guys discuss the CFP, and why the heck Stephen A Smith called out the Frogs on Twitter.

Then the guys really take a deep dive into what happened against Georgetown, and why the game was so close. The good, the bad, and the ugly. There was plenty of it all. We got redemption for the refs saying that Max was out!!!

We give our first weekly basketball awards, and make our first basketball-only picks.

We have a very important game coming up against Clemson next weekend, and it's one that will look phenomenal on our overall resume.
