So many nominations!  Two noms from the Hollywood Critics Awards.  Six noms the Television Critics Association.  We can vote for Bridgerton’s four noms from the Gold Derby Awards. And of course, 12 nominations from the Emmy’s!

Nicola Coughlan won best the Rising Star award from the Irish Film and Television Awards.  Plus, much thanks to her sharing photos of the cast out in the wild.

We think it’s wild that the ABC Network will have a Bridgerton inspired Regency style Bachelor/Bachelorette season.  Have you applied?

Marina Thompson has been low key confirmed that she will be in season two.  Chris Van Dusen has also said he has edited episodes one and two.  Does that mean we’ll have season two by the holidays even with the filming shut down rumors?

Hopefully we’ll get more Bridgerton merchandise by the holidays especially if Shonda Rhimes’ Netflix contract has extended!  We’re already getting a spin off show, we’ll happily wait to see what else Shondaland has up their sleeves!

Our Lady Danbury, Adjoa Andoh, and our Duke of Hastings, Rege-Jean Page, received Black Reel Awards nominations. Simon Basset even got a nomination for his guest appearance on Saturday Night Live!

The Emmy’s publicity has been ramping up, so we’ll be seeing more of our favorite faces in the media.  We love that Bridgerton had a long list on the Netflix For Your Consideration Booklet.

Phoebe Dynevor will be in a murder mystery movie with Sony called “I Heart Murder.”  However, we’ll keep our ears open for any buzz about its mysterious plot.

Get your Bridgerton Ball lewks ready for the Secret Cinema with FEVER hosted regency ball this November at a secret London location.  It will be the party of the year so get on the waiting list for an exclusive invite.

The Bridgerton cast are still making their award season rounds.  Phoebe Dynevor and director Julie Ann Robinson talked about bringing a modern flair to the Netflix series.  Rege-Jean Page was on the Hollywood Reporter Drama Actor Roundtable and having a great time with four other men.

The TV Choice Awards short list is revealed and Bridgerton scored three nominations including Best New Drama.  Phoebe Dynevor is up for Best Actress and Rege-Jean Page is up for Best Actor.  Voting is open until Friday, June 25th BST.

Nicola Coughlan was nominated for the Irish Film and Television Awards Best Supporting Actress for Bridgerton.  The winners will be announce virtually on Virgin Media One, Sunday, July 4th at 10pm IST.

If you need a good laugh, a reporter channeled her inner Daphne Bridgerton to converse with potential Tinder dates.  Hopefully the Cosmopolitan reporter will try it again one day and find her Simon.

Maybe channeling good vibes will help Bridgerton win the GALECA’s Dorian Award for Best New Drama on Sunday, August 29th.

We’re happy to see the cast in interviews especially because pictures in the wild have been slim to none, but Chris Van Dusen gave us a present.  That one picture of season two, episode one’s script said so much and we’re excited.  Will we get another CVD picture this coming week?  As we wait patiently for the answer and wait for more buzzy updates, join us as we discuss nominations and our summer assignment to vote!

The Virgin BAFTA for Most-See Moment win may have gone to a well-deserving performance, but Golda Rosheuvel and Nicola Coughlan were giving us lewks!

Phoebe Dynevor was giving us a lewk on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Rege-Jean Page was on Variety’s Actors on Actors with “The Crown” star Emma Corrin, each talking about their shows.

As the Bridgerton actors film, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton gave us an updated #Polin picture.  Hopefully, we soon get a 2.0 version of the Bridgerton brothers picture complete with another LLCoolJay boy band performance.

Shonda Rhimes and Julia Quinn posted a place where we can get a pick-me-up by coffee and by it’s Bridgerton designs.  If coffee is not your thing, then hang out by wisteria mural.

Speaking of hanging out, Prudence Featherington and Sir Phillip Crane were chilling on set.  Will the Cranes be in season two?

One word that Phoebe Dynevor used to hint at season two was “wicket.”  She and Nicola Coughlan were on In the Envelope Podcast, and Phoebe was asked what word will have the book fans screaming and the show fans wondering.

For those wondering about the Asian inspired décor in the Duchess’ chambers, it’s an ode to Simon and his travels before going back to town.  As always, let us know if you have any questions we haven’t covered on our episode breakdowns.

There are fan theories buzzing about making Kate Sharma older in the show for modernity because it’s absolutely okay to marry at an “on-the-shelf” age!  And, will the older Kate be named Diamond of the First Water instead of Edwina?

Hopefully Rege and Phoebe make it on the short list for the National TV Awards.

Anthony seemed to be chasing Kate as seen on fan pictures floating around in the wild. 

How wild will the Queen Charlotte spinoff be if Shonda Rhimes runs it?  Phoebe said it will not be based on the books.

Bridgerton is on the National TV Awards long list waiting for us to vote.  We have until June 4th at 11pm (BST).  The show is up for the Best New Drama, and both Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page are up for the Best Drama Performance.

Rege-Jean Page is on a roll!  He’s the Tell Tale TV Awards Favorite Actor in a Cable or Streaming Drama Series (Final Round) winner!

Lucky lady, journalist Angelique Jackson, interviewed Rege for Variety Media to get the deets on the duke and life after Bridgerton. 

Shondaland gifted us two bonus episodes with the weekly episode on it’s Bridgerton: The Official Podcast.  We get insight on the pilot episode, the choreography, and the partnership between Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers.  Plus, some submitted fan questions were answered by historian and consultant Dr. Hannah Greig.

Avon books started the Bridgerton Read-Along IG live discussion with of “The Viscount Who Loved Me” with authors Cathy Maxwell and Thien-Kim Lam.  Julia Quinn was also present for a bit and discussed the pall mall scene.

Recently, Edmund has been found.  Rupert Evans will be the Bridgerton patriarch for season two!  Be ready for your heart to be ripped out!

Phoebe is now filming and we wonder if she’ll be lexting (letter-sex) with her Duke.  She reveals what she knew and what she didn’t expect of her on-screen hubby not being on season two, but reminds us what that each book tells the story of each sibling.

Congratulations to Rege-Jean Page for his 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards win.  Leslie Jones did a hilarious Bridgerton skit and even suggested what Lady Whistledown could do.

What we could do is vote for “Bridgerton: Penelope is revealed as Lady Whistledown” to win the Virgin Media Must-See Moment of 2020.  Voting closes at 5:00pm (UK time) on 24th May.  Also, don’t forget, we have until 21st May to vote for the TV Choice awards!

We hope to see many must-see moments when Shonda Rhimes delivers her spin-off series of a young Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury, and Violet Bridgerton!  Who doesn’t want to see how these naughty ladies become the influencers amongst the ton?

Chris Van Dusen had announced that he will continue to be the showrunner for season two, but Bridgerton veteran, Jess Brownell, will take over as showrunner for seasons three and four.

This weekend, CVD, Phoebe Dynevor, and Nicola Coughlan were on Deadline’s Contenders Television Livestream Event.  CVD stayed mum about anything season two, and our Daphne and Penelope recalled how the show changed their lives.

The show has probably changed our lives somehow, so if you have a burning question about season one, submit that question and it will possibly be answered on the official podcast.

Cast and crew have been spotted all over the UK to film, and have fun (in Wales).  Hopefully we get another Christmas Day release.

An award for awesome listeners should be a thing.  Thank you to Alice who brought out some buzzy clean-up topics: gooseberry pie, the Hare and the Hound, and Madame Delacroix.

Helen Byrne wins the Aspire Design and Home magazine Best Use of Floral Design Award for her beautiful settings in the show.  Plus, Bridgerton won the Best Costumes to Enhance Décor award.

Toni needs to learn a tad bit more about American football (she does watch the Super Bowls) than film settings.  Wendy had to explain what the NFL Draft x Bridgerton collaboration was about.  Have you seen the commercial?
