Are you an entrepreneur? Do you strive to be a business owner someday? Are you going back to school and are looking for new things to add to your desk? With back to school season ahead and new up-and-coming entrepreneurs are rising up to the challenge, Joanne and KP talk about the importance of knowing what YOU want in your business, where YOU see it going, and what YOUR "why" is. Joanne talks about her experience starting her business and how she finds it important to have the right support system by her side.
About Joanne:
My name is Joanne (she/her), a tenacious, twenty-something entrepreneur with 1 main goal in mind: to help women creatives stay on track and motivated through organizing with intention. I started Minima Basics because I was sick of feeling trapped by clutter and distractions that were present in my workspace. Simply put, it was off-putting and totally blocked my creative flow.
Minima Basics is a female-founded company, created by yours truly. Whether you’re a fempreneur, a creative, a side-hustler, or simply a woman who appreciates the importance of aesthetic organizers. Minima Basics has all the goods to get your mind on task, and the creative juices flowing.
Minima Basics offers a range of desk organizers in acrylics and marble along with other stationery must-haves! All of the pieces are designed personally by me, with deep thought and intention.

Jamie Rose Salvador is a Registered Nurse who specializes in providing complex critical nursing care to adult patients within the Intensive Care Unit. She graduated from the Ryerson, Centennial, George Brown Collaborative Nursing Degree Program in 2018 and completed her post-graduate certificate in Critical Care Nursing from George Brown College in 2019. As a nurse, Jamie strives to effectively communicate and collaborate within her inter-professional team in order to deliver safe and high-quality patient-centered care. Having been a patient several times herself, she holds high regard for the role and responsibilities of nurses. She believes it is both an honour and privilege to care for people, especially in their most vulnerable state. Her dedication to the profession led her to participate in different school and extra-circular events and become involved in different nursing associations. Her faith plays a huge role in her life, and she strongly believes that it has anchored her during this whole pandemic. Besides nursing, Jamie loves spending time with her family and is engaged to her high-school sweetheart. She enjoys eating, traveling, and is slightly obsessed with organization.
