Hi friends, we are finally back from our winter hiatus! To kick off our 2023 podcasting we will be wrapping up A Court of Thorns and Roses. Today we’ll be zipping through the last section of the book, we are deep in the go, go, go section of the novel, and have tons of plot points to discuss with you all!
We want to remind our listeners that this series coverage is riddled with spoilers so listen at your own risk if you have not read the 1st book of the ACOTAR series.
During this end section we get to see Feyre come back to the ruined Spring Court and decide to make her quest Under the Mountain to get Tamlin back. By doing this she meets Amarantha and has to endure three trials or solve a poem to get Tamlin his powers back. We get to see a lot of interesting interactions between Rhysand and Feyre in this section, and at the very end of the novel, Feyre gets a major transformation.
In lieu of Zillenial Quiz Taking Time, we decided to do a live reading/solving of riddles to be on theme with this section of the book.
Thanks for joining us for the end of A Court of Thorns & Roses! We’re very excited to bring you A Court of Mist & Fury in the coming weeks. Stay hot and stay hydrated friends, we’ll see you next time!

Hi friends, today we are continuing our coverage on A Court of Thorns and Roses, we are covering the middle portion of the book today. We’re dealing with some fluffy/romantic content between Tamlin and Feyre, and also we finally get to meet Rhysand!
During this middle section we get to see some fae holidays like Calanmai and the Summer Solstice, and the growing connection between Feyre, Lucien, and Tamlin, whether it be friendship or romantic. This section is very middle of the book, and it’s evident all this fluff is building up into the dramatic tail-end of the novel that’ll be featured in the next part.
In lieu of Zillenial Quiz Taking Time, we did a fun little game of Would You Rather? Feel free to participate and let us know via social media what your answers were.
Thanks for joining us and listening to us throughout this year! We’re very excited for all the ACOTAR and other literary content to come in 2023.

Hi friends! We’re back from our little hiatus with our annual fall fantasy series coverage, something we started with the Twilight Saga & Movies last year, and we’ll be carrying on with the A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
In this first part we’re covering the first third of the first book, A Court of Thorns & Roses. During this section we lay the groundwork of what the book will be about and our beginning analysis on the characters, themes, and relationship dynamics. All of our analysis will be fleshed out as we continue covering the first book, so stay tuned for future updates.

Hi Friends, in light of it being officially spooky season we are back with more StarKid, and for this week’s episode we’ll be covering another Hachetfield musical: Black Friday.
Like in our coverage on The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, we’re going to discuss the general plot of Black Friday with each correlating scene and song. We really love Black Friday and have lots of fun thoughts and feelings on the utter genius of this musical. It’s really one of StarKid’s best productions, with witty one liners, beautiful, heart wrenching ballads, and some weird ass, campy musical numbers!
For our Zillenial Quiz Taking Time we took a quiz where we got to find out which Black Friday Character We Are! Quiz is linked below and feel free to share your results with us via social media:

Hi Friends, we’re officially done with our Taylor Swift content, and are back with another episode covering a StarKid musical. This time around we’ll be talking about The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, and it’s about to get all weird and musical up in Hachetfield!
We do an overview of the plot, going through song by song and giving our overall opinions on the show, like how TGWDLM is one of the best examples of an ensemble based show (honestly most of StarKid’s stuff is) and just how amazingly weird and zany the side characters in this show are. This show is beloved by our college theatre friend group and we had so much fun diving back into it all!
For our Zillenial Quiz Taking Time we took a quiz where we got to find out which The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals Character we are! Quiz is linked below and feel free to share your results with us over social media:

Hello, hello friends! We are back from our hiatus, summer is crazy busy, and Alyssa was out of commission for a couple of weeks. But we are finally back and wrapping up the final episode of our Taylor Swift series.
In this episode we briefly cover our feelings on her single, “Carolina,” which was featured in the movie Where the Crawdads Sing. We then discussed the significance of Track 5 on her albums, our favorite Track 5 songs, and the controversy surrounding the 1989 Track 5, All You Had To Do Was Stay. For the remainder of the episode we bring in our English major analytical skills and discuss literary tropes found in Taylor’s music like friends to lovers and forbidden love. We wrap up with a ranking of our favorite albums!
For this week’s Zillenial Quiz Taking Time we took an amazing Buzzfeed quiz that severely called us out: Everyone Has 5 Taylor Swift Songs That Explain Their Personality– What Are Yours? The link is below, feel free to share your results with us:

Hello friends! We’re back with more Taylor Swift, and today we’ll be talking all about our two favorite albums. This episode is all about Taylor’s dreamy and poetic folk era with her sister albums: folklore and evermore.
We’re literally so excited to be covering these two respective albums! We both have lots to say about what they mean to us, and get real deep with our favorite songs, and general thoughts about folklore and evermore. Unfortunately, we did record this episode before the drop of Taylor’s new song: Carolina, which fits the folk Taylor vibe perfectly. But don’t fret, we’ll give our input in the next episode!
For Zillenial Quiz Taking Time we took a really awesome quiz where we got to find out if we were more like folklore or evermore! We’ll be linking the quiz below, and feel free to share your results with us via social media:

Hello, friends and fellow Swifties! We are back with more Taylor Swift content, and in this episode we will be talking all about Taylor’s Pop Era. This spans from albums 1989-Lover, and we’ll also be discussing the “Taylor’s Over Party” that sparked the album, Reputation.
This episode has a similar format to Country Taylor, where we discuss each respective pop album and share our favorite songs, and general feelings. Overall, we agree that pop Taylor has a continuous sound from 1989 to Lover, but also love how Lover is starts to get the poetic lyrics we see in folklore and evermore.
For Zillenial Quiz Taking Time, we took two quizzes. One where we got to figure out if we were more like 1989 or Reputation, and the second where we found out if we were more like Lover or Reputation. Both quiz links are below, and feel free to share your results on social media! We’d love to see what pop album you are!

Hey friends we are back with part 2 of Country Taylor, in this episode we are talking about Speak Now, Red, and Red Taylor’s Version.
In this episode we are carrying on our conversation from part 1 of Country Taylor, starting with her complete self-written album, Speak Now. In this album we are still rooted in country but we’re starting to see some pop influences in her music! We then talk about Red vs. Red Taylor’s Version, and talk about how this was the album that transitioned Taylor from a country artist to more of a pop sound. Like in part 1, we discuss the differences between the old and new versions of the album and how Taylor’s Version sounds like the album she wanted to record in the first place. It has more of a pop sound with country influences.
For Zillenial Quiz Taking Time, we took a fun quiz where we found out, Which Taylor Swift Speak Now Song Are You? Link is below, and feel free to share results with us over social media!

Hello friends, we are back from our little hiatus with more Tea & Squee! For the next couple of weeks we will be discussing our favorite musician and pop culture icon: Taylor Swift. Since we’ll be discussing her work in chronological order, these first two parts we’ll be discussing Country Taylor (the episodes will be posted simultaneously).
All in all during this series we’ll be talking about Taylor’s respective albums, her re-records, how Easter Eggs work, and our general thoughts and feelings on her songs. A kind reminder that art is subjective and we all interpret differently!
So in Part One of Country Taylor, we are discussing Taylor’s origins as an artist and her original roots in country/pop. We give opinions on her first album titled: Taylor Swift and do the same for Fearless and Fearless Taylor’s Version. While covering Taylor’s Versions we talk about the major differences between the old version and the new version, and our favorite vault tracks!
We’ll see you shortly for Part Two of Country Taylor! That episode will be featuring our fun, Zillenial Quiz Taking Time.
