Stella Ladikos from Meraki Mental Health Training (@merakimhtraining) joins us to explain what mental health first aid is and how culture and language shape our understanding of mental health. Stella draws from her personal experiences within the Greek Community to share strategies to challenge cultural stigma around mental health. She explains why we as individuals need to reflect on the way we speak about mental health to better support those around us and allow for more honest conversations about mental health.
