Our region is getting pummeled with Winter weather today.  My friend is a meteorologist and we were talking about the storm when he mentioned "Thunder Snow."
My first experience with this occurred in the 1980’s.  I had been feeding hay to the cattle and it was snowing heavily.  We always let the cows in the barnyard in bad weather, so the actual feeding was not a challenge, but getting to and from the barn was.
Being the typical teen, I finished my task, gathered my sled and headed out for some fun.  With about 2 feet of snow and no packed trail, the sledding was not successful, so I put that away and was standing on the barn bridge in total frustration.
The snow was surrounding me as it fell and the world was near silent save the pitter patter of the flakes.  In a flash, the snow lit up bright purple and a nearly instant clash of thunder shook me.  I knew enough to realize that it had been close, so, in a fast pace, I took off to the house for clean clothes!

Feb 12 Judges with TDD

Americans in many small towns in the red states watched newcomers destroy their peace and quiet as the Biden regime flew in hundreds of thousands of Haitians, gave them temporary protective status, and far more money than they know what to do with. In all, over his four-year term Biden imported over half a million Haitians. Thing is, they were deposited overwhelmingly as a means to punish Trump and to turn those foreigners into Democrat voters and destroy American culture. Democrats can only win the elections by giving our tax dollars to various communities in exchange for votes. So why are 350,000 Haitians still here? Feb 11 Volunteer or go to prison

Question. Is something voluntary if you're going to be jailed if you don't do it? Hundreds of thousands of Canadians can face prison time if they don't turn in their prohibited guns under a supposedly "voluntary" gun buyback program. That is testing the strength of Canada's bureaucratic regime. Since May 2020, the Canadian government has attempted to institute a massive assault-style firearms compensation program that will trade cash, at least a little, for prohibited guns. If Canadians don't turn in the prohibited gun by October this year, they could face five years in prison. These programs face massive pushback from provincial leaders and gun rights organizations who say it will disarm only the law-abiding Canadians. I have some news. Feb 10 Judges ruled Biden won

The election investigator, Cleta Mitchell, reports, on the morning of November 4, 2020, Rafton-Burger said Trump led Georgia by 103,000 votes with only 94,000 ballots left, but four days later, there were 300,000 more ballots, including 148,000 absentee ballots from Fulton County. That's 25,535 more ballots than voters, more than double Biden's margin of victory. Over 133,000 ballot images were deleted. NONE, zero of the 148 Fulton County tabulators had the required tapes. Feb 9 Nearly all humans live on stolen land

I'm hearing a lot of talk from the anti-ICE demonstrators about how we're all immigrants and that we live on stolen land. That all Americans, and all humans over the world, live on stolen lands. For instance, here in America, the Sioux took the land from the Cheyenne, who took it from the Kiowa, who took it from the Pawnee, who took it from the Crow, who took it from the Arakara. The victors not only took the land, they enslaved their enemies.  There's no incident on Earth where one tribe didn't overcome another tribe by superior tactics or weaponry. In our case, it was the European tribe versus the American tribe. And by the way, all nations fought to keep the invaders out. Feb 5 Fiberglass and shorts

 During the summers of my college days, I worked for an electrical contractor.  For those of you who listen, I have mentioned Marvin several times as a mentor.  The first summer on that job had me as a shop clean-up boy. I was to clean and organize.  I spent long, hot, sweaty days in the metal building out behind Marvin's house.  Most days, the crews would show up wearing shorts.  And, while working in shorts was alien to me, as the days dragged on, I started seriously thinking about it. One day, I got my courage up and wore shorts.  It was a nice relief from the heat, and I found the day went faster as I was less miserable.  That euphoric feeling lasted until about noon. Denny returned from a job and needed a hand, so Marvin sent me as a gopher. I was thrilled to get out and go do a real job, shorts and all, until I reached the attic, which had 24 inches of blown fiberglass insulation. Feb 5 Democrat Magician Tricks

Most of us like watching a good magician. Why? Because we like to figure out how he did the trick. But after you've been doing this for a while, you know what to look for. The "other hand."  While the magician is doing a trick with his right hand, watch his left.  It's the one that's moving the object around, making something disappear or appear. It's the same with the Somalis. In Minnesota alone, they've stolen $9 billion. And that might just be the tip of the iceberg. How do Democrats cover the magic trick of a $9 billion heist from American taxpayers?  With ICE demonstrations. In fact, they're willing to get people killed in order to hide what's really going on. One of the things I've never understood about Minnesota is how gentle the people seem when I visited there. And yet a few years ago, they burnt down a lot of Minneapolis because of career criminal George Floyd getting killed.  Not by the policeman's hold, but according to the coroner, by fentanyl.  Three times the lethal dose in his body. And yet, they burnt down the city.  Millions of dollars went to the Black Lives Matter movement, and the leaders got unspeakably rich.  Same with the Somalians and the Democrats on that $9 billion and counting. Watch the other hand, you'll see.
