Intelligent people have long realized that Donald Trump’s name is not on the list of men for whom Jeffrey Epstein procured teenage girls. How do we know that?  If Trump’s name been found anywhere in criminal files, Attorney General Merrick Garland would have splashed that information all over the New York Times, CNN, NBC, and they would have prosecuted him. After all, they twisted every criminal statute they could think of in order to keep him from winning reelection. If they had any real evidence that he committed a real crime, they would have wet their pants in excitement! But Ghislaine Maxwell, the one time associate of Jeffrey Epstein, and the only person in prison in connection with his sex trafficking network, says she’s now prepared to speak publicly about the notorious Epstein clients, and give the names of his powerful clients. There’s a lot of talk about illegal immigrants being deported. So what’s Trump trying to do? He wants to get illegal immigrants out of the United States, especially those with any criminal history or gang ties. Even more urgently important is to stop them from entering here in the first place! That’s the mission, but Trump isn’t just trying to clean up after the last four years. He’s trying to reset the entire system, using a mix of executive authority, existing immigration laws, and smarter legal strategies. America is overwhelmed and loopholes are everywhere. Experienced lawyers waiting for their hearing. Trump’s layered strategy has better lawyers, and cases designed to reach the Supreme Court. The illegals waiting for their hearings are supposed to wait in Mexico. We can’t continue this catch and release that we’ve had for the last four years.

A couple of weeks ago a good friend of mine called and said, “George, our dog is suffering and is going to probably die within the next couple of days. He’s too big to carry to the veterinarian and we can’t get a veterinarian to come here. Would you come and put him out of his misery?” I think they asked me because they know I’m Pennsylvania Dutch and we do what we need to do. I drove over to their house and shot their dog.   I was really sad for them and it reminded me it reminded me of something from 70 years ago when I was 11 years old and found my beloved beagle had been severely injured. There was no adult around and I had to shoot my own dog, like in the movie “Old Yeller.” That was the humane thing to do. Having a pet means putting an end to its life sooner or later. But what a miracle from God when He made little animals that we could love - and could even love us back.

Summer of 1980 By Steve Adams.
 While browsing through some 1980’s hits on my streaming service, I found and listened to “Upside Down” by Dana Ross.  In 1980, I was 14, transitioning into high school, and, as luck would have it, was invited to spend a week with my cousin in the city.

For a whole week, I got to swim every day at the pool and we toured many of the places in the city that I found interesting.  I learned to love Whistle Pops and eating copious amounts of food at the mall’s buffet.   One morning, my uncle took us to get sausage gravy at a local restaurant.  As we rode, that song was on the radio with my cousin and I singing along as the wind blew through our hair.

In the summer of 1980, my world view expanded greatly and I got my first taste of life outside the small farming community where I grew up.  Music is a powerful mental trigger and, to this day, that song reminds me of a MAGICAL week in the city.

A few months ago pundits were asking “why is Mr Trump escalating a trade war by threatening high tariffs on major trading partner’s imported copper and pharmaceuticals?” My thinking is, “why not?!” The economy, the market, and policy developments have been a wind in the President’s back. The threatened downslides have not materialized and the naysayers look pretty silly. Three months ago the stock and bond markets were in a free fall. We were told a recession is coming we should empty the store shelves! None of that came true. Unemployment went way down, stock market went way up. But it’s just torture for leftists to say Mr Trump was right. So what do leftists have have left? They’re sending their useful idiots out for “no kings day!”

My hometown is Lynchburg VA and I’m very happy that we have Don Sloan as our sheriff. He’s our last constitutional barrier between US and tyranny. You see, the constitutional sheriff is someone who’s been elected, not appointed. And they don’t have to follow unconstitutional laws, and no one can make them. That’s why Marxists and Democrats all over the country are trying to strip authority from county sheriffs. And in states like Washington, they’ve had some success and now most sheriffs in Washington state are appointed. They pretty much have to do what their appointees tell to do.  I’m so pleased we have a constitutional sheriff. They don’t have to support any law they think it’s unconstitutional, and that’s a right we’re going to have to fight for.

          Last week I decided to call a friend of mine who had early onset of dementia. I discovered that his cell phone had been disconnected. His family had done it because they were afraid he might make weird calls, or receive weird calls. Then last week I learned that Mr Biden’s cell phone had been disconnected in March of 2024 for the same reason! I thought “the leader of the free world is not allowed to have a cell phone, but he is allowed to have his finger on the nuclear button!” What’s wrong with America that they would allow a man to stay in office who didn’t know where he was, and he couldn’t have a cell phone? I also blame voters, you know the ones who voted for him in 2020 in spite of the fact that he didn’t come out to debate Mr Trump, nor did he come out for any campaign function. He campaigned from his basement, and yet they were still enough voters to think that was OK.
