I’ve been studying Mr Trump’s executive orders, and I’m getting happier and happier. For instance, an order to reform hiring in the federal government based on MERIT. That includes getting rid of diversity, equity, inclusion, which is based on DISCRIMINATION. A change in policy to make it easier to fire poor performers among the federal workforce. It’s what we do in private business. An order to hold former government officials accountable for election interference and unlawful disclosure of sensitive information. That refers to the security officials who co-signed a letter that said, "Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.” A regulatory freeze to prevent bureaucrats from issuing any more regulations until the administration has full control of the government. These regulations are killing America! The federal hiring freeze, except for the military and other exempted categories. It’s like we need more bureaucrats. Thank you Mr Trump!

January 20 was a great day for most Americans because most Americans voted for Mr Trump. One thing that made me especially happy was the sweeping pardon for the January 6th protesters. There was a lot of blowback from liberals. Most of them said, “Well, those protesters, which were really insurrectionists, got off Scott free!” Would you call losing all your money, your job, maybe your family, and 4 years of your life, getting off Scott free? We’re now hearing from the January 6th prisoners, and what happened to them while they were locked up in the federal gulag. Most had signed plea agreements because they had been threatened with greater charges and more prison time if they didn’t sign those agreements. So on the record it says, “pleaded guilty.” Yeah, they pleaded guilty under unbelievable duress. It’s time for all this to come to an end, and for the nation to heal. I think it will heal when liberals stop hating Trump so much that they hate those that supported Trump. Even to the point where they wanted the January 6th protesters in prison and tortured forever.

“Dream for the Future”  By Steve Adams
One of my goals last year was rebuilding the desktop PC that I use for both work and enjoyment.  This was the third generation of high-end PCs I have built and it is named Blackbird 003 after the legendary Lockheed SR-71. As I admired my new creation this weekend, I realized that what started my path in engineering nearly 48 years ago was a book that I bought detailing that majestic aircraft. For a farm boy in the 1970s, finding any information on cutting edge anything was a challenge at best, but that book and the dreams that it created in me, led to an amazing career that has taken me around the world and has contributed to the many wonderful people I have met along the way. It wasn’t an individual or an institution that made this country special, it was the spirit, imagination and drive of people like YOU and ME and those who came before us. HONOR the accomplishments of the past by dreaming for the future!

Years ago when I started broadcasting Tea Time, my pastor called me aside and he said, “George, your problem is you expect non-Christians to act Christians. They act the way they do because they’re not Christians.” I think it’s the same way the Conservatives are scratching their heads over what liberals are doing. We simply can’t believe the policies in California that led up to the wildfires destroyed so much in Los Angeles. We don’t understand spending billions of dollars on illegals, but cutting the fire and fighting budget and destroying the sources of water. We can’t understand hiring a lesbian as “Fire Chief, and passing on more qualified people because they weren’t lesbians. We can’t understand living in misery when life could be so much better. We can’t understand because we’re not liberals!

I’ve always been opposed to bullies. In fact I’ve got beaten up a couple times by defending other people for bullies. And I can hardly stand it when I see a bully whom I can do nothing about. For instance, in the Pete headset hearings we have a war hero, a patriot, a good man who’s being attacked by people who are so much less than he is. But have been given a platform to ask stupid irrelevant questions, just to bully him. Their questions have nothing to do with, “Would Pete make a great Department or Defense Secretary?” Pete said, “The Department of Defense under Donald Trump will achieve peace through strength. And in pursuing this, America- First national security goals will remain patriot, apolitical, and stridently constitutional.” Unlike the current administration, politics will pay no part in military matters. We’re not Republicans we’re not Democrats. We are American warriors. Our standards will be high, and they will be equal. Isn’t that what we want? A great defense for America. Or do we want diversity, equity, inclusion. And men being fitted for dresses so they have proper female uniforms! So happy we’re not following the stupid path that Biden was on for four years.

penalty. I think that’s what we’re seeing in California. Except there is no penalty. The mayor of Los Angeles, the Fire Chief, the Governor of California. We see nothing but failure in their planning. In fact, we’ve seen no planning!  We’ve only seen diversity, equity, inclusion. We’ve seen “Tax the people more because we need more money!” And we’ve seen voters who keep voting for misery. Once they’ve experienced misery, they vote for more misery! It’s been going on for decades and it’s time for it to stop! What’s the only way to stop a monster from growing? You stop feeding it!  I’m just hoping Mr Trump will tell the people in Los Angeles and California, “This isn’t a natural disaster. This isn’t global warming. We’re not going to help you.  This is a man-made disaster, and you are the ones who made it. You can figure out yourselves how you’re going to get out of this. But we’re not going to help you!”

During my last 80-plus years, I’ve experienced days, or perhaps even weeks, of rain storms and weather so bad that you couldn’t get anything done. And then one day the clouds disappear and the sun comes out! Today is such a day. Donald Trump is our President. on Martin Luther King’s birthday I’m hearing “Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, America is FREE AT LAST!  Today America is free of the horrible dark clouds of crazy liberal policies. Of millions of illegals coming in across our borders. Of a weak military. Of runaway inflation. Of businesses failing across America. It’s all coming to an end. But not today. The sun is coming out, but it’s going to take a while to undo the damage that we’ve seen over the last four years.

The Start of a Journey

Last month, we released the first of these guest spots on the Double Blessing of Adoption and I have received a lot of positive feedback from it.

In the 80’s, Crosby, Stills and Nash recorded a song titled “Southern Cross” and part of the lyrics read, 

“When you see the Southern Cross for the first time
 You understand now why you came this way”

In the 1990’s, I was in South Africa where I had met some wonderful people who ran an orphanage.  One little guy in particular, named Derrick, endeared himself to me.  Derrick would follow me everywhere.  

One evening, we were visiting and I had wondered into the back yard to try to find the Southern Cross and had laid down on the lawn to look.  In a few minutes, my shadow, Derrick, walked over, laid down in the grass beside me and asked what I was doing.  That evening, an 8 year old orphan showed ME the Southern Cross for the first time, and today, I understand why I came this way…
