Chris received his Master's in Education from Rutgers University (go Scarlet Knights!) and went on to spend 7 years teaching high school science in New Jersey. During that time he tutored for extra cash, but most importantly he took advantage of any opportunity the school offered for stipends: extra classes, special programs, ad-hoc committees, and administrative roles. When he became interested in the EdTech industry, he began networking at conferences resulting in opportunities to work part-time as an independent contractor. Chris has since left the classroom, and now works as a Customer Success Manager in London for Zzish Ltd., the company that created the formative assessment platform Quizalize. They specialize in automated differentiation and mastery data, and have been heavily leaned on by teachers looking for formative assessment solutions during school closures. Chris is now moving back to the United States to start a new chapter of his life in Los Angeles, CA. He encourages you to find and connect with him on LinkedIn, or reaching out to him at [email protected]
