My student called me a Fat Pig... and had no idea what it meant.

We all know college did not prepare us for you know, the "no potty breaks" or the amount of tissues we would use crying... so here are some of the things I wish someone would told me before becoming a teacher!

Yup. You heard it. My student intentionally peed herself.

I spend my time working out, eating food, creating Instagram content, podcasts content.... and yet I still have time to teach. How? Well most people would give you advice on work life balance and I am simply here to day I don't believe in it. I believe the secret is to be present, quit literally where your feet are.

The hardest part isn't the grading, or the lesson planning, or even the early wake up calls... it is so much more than that. It is depression, anxiety, and well pure burn out... there is a breaking point most teachers hit where they simply cant get themselves back into the classroom for one more day. So they quit. But why? why is it so hard... what makes it harder than anything else?

Why I started this podcast... Who am I to give advice? And what really happened to make me so frustrated I needed to start a podcast to tell the world about it.
