Matthew Yalch, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Palo Alto University. His research interests include traumatic stress, personality assessment, applications of Bayesian statistics, and pedagogy. He draws from all of these areas to teach students about statistics and research methods, which comprise many of the courses he teaches at PAU. In this interview, Dr. Yalch discusses how his interdisciplinary pedagogy training informs his teaching perspectives, including helping students imagine the various career possibilities post-graduation, such as working in Silicon Valley.
