A person of God can be easily recognized by what they are willing to fight for. Paul, in First Timothy 6, admonishes us "to fight the good fight of faith."As we seek God's Word He commands us to fight, to earnestly contend for the truth. The fight for believers isn't over until the Lord calls us home. There are no cease fires in a spiritual war. When we're in right standing with God, we will fight for the right things!

In the Word of God, Paul gave Timothy, a young Pastor over the Church of Ephesus, very specific characteristics and traits to look for when selecting deacons to serve the Body. Even unbelievers are in the midst of spiritual battles but are prisoners of the enemy. As believers, are you missing in action or are you actively a soldier on the front line, in the midst of the battle? We must realize the assaults of Satan in the midst of war, recognize that we serve a great and mighty God and begin to win.
